A fuse () is proposed for interrupting a voltage and/or current-carrying conductor () in case of a thermal fault, having a conductor bar () ensuring an electrically conductive connection of the voltage and/or current-carrying conductor during correct operation, said fuse () being characterized in that the conductor bar () melts upon an increase in temperature above the melting point, and the electrically conductive connection of the voltage and/or current-carrying conductor is interrupted due to inherent surface tension. Also proposed is a method for producing the fuse () according to the invention.

The invention relates to a thermal fuse in a circuit structure, particularly a punched grid, having a plurality of circuit areas, having the circuit structure with connections sites () and having a fusible element (), which is electrically and mechanically connected to the connection sites () of the circuit structure, a material of the fusible element () having a melting point, in order to melt at an ambient temperature greater than the melting point, such that material of the fusible element () collects at the connection sites () and the electrical connection formed by the fusible element () breaks.

Thermal fuse

A method and a circuit for protecting an electric motor and/or its trigger circuit against overload in the emergency-operation mode in a motor vehicle direct-current fan motor operated by means of pulse width modulation, in which the trigger circuit is designed as an emergency-operation controller, with a microcontroller preceding the motor end stage and with a comparator assembly for detecting overvoltages. Overload protection is assured at elevated battery voltage and at the same time when the emergency-operation controller is activated in response to malfunctions in the normal triggering of the electric motor. To that end, at least one overvoltage threshold (U, U) is defined; when it is exceeded, the power supplied to the motor is reduced or switched off.

A control circuit for a direct-current motor driven in a clocked manner, includes an electrolytic capacitor connected in parallel and free-wheeling diode. Spurious radiation is reduced, in that a choke is connected between the positive motor supply voltage and the plus terminal of the electrolytic capacitor, and that the free-wheeling diode is disposed with its cathode between the choke and the electrolytic capacitor, and with its anode on the negative side of the d.c. motor.

A circuit arrangement having a microprocessor whose reset terminal is adapted to receive a reset signal from a driving circuit. A simple reset wiring of the microprocessor is implemented in that the reset terminal is additionally connected to a further terminal of the microprocessor which, after the reset terminal has received the reset signal, holds the reset terminal to a defined suppressing level that deviates from the reset level.
