To position a solar oven radiation collection device, a structural extension assembly extends in a radial direction with respect to a structure. A moveable transport provides linear movement of the solar oven radiation collection device along an axis of the structural extension assembly. A linear deploy electric motor is used to control linear movement of the solar oven radiation collection device along the axis of the structural extension assembly. A solar altitude electric motor is used to adjust orientation of the solar oven radiation collection device to take into account changes in solar altitude with respect to time. A solar azimuth electric motor is used to adjust orientation of the solar oven radiation collection device to take into account changes in azimuth with respect to time.

Solar oven positioning

Positioning a radiation collection device such as a solar oven using a positioning system attached to an outside of a building structure. The positioning system allowing the collection device to be positioned in a plurality of locations where at least one of the plurality of locations is away from the building structure to allow the radiation collection device to collect solar radiation.

A uniquely configured flexure tongue of a head/gimbal assembly (HGA) provides for parallel positioning of a slider air bearing surface (ABS) during merge and a limitation of pitch of the slider during non-merge. A cantilevered end of the flexure tongue is provided with a finger extension which can be employed for merge operations and a remainder cantilevered end portion adjacent a base of the finger can be employed for limiting pitch of the slider. When a merge comb engages multiple flexure fingers of multiple suspensions in a head stack assembly the air bearing surfaces of the sliders are positioned parallel with respect to one another. This allows maximum disk stack density when a head stack assembly is merged with a head stack assembly. The flexure finger allows various arrangements to be employed for implementing a merge. The present invention also cooperates with a prior art roll limiter so that during merge a three point fixation normalizes a slider at zero pitch.

Shock protected high stack density suspension system

A transducer suspension system for a data storage disk drive device has electrical wires strung along the top surface of the suspension. The wires bend around the distal end of the suspension and are connected to electrical pads on the transducer slider below. The height of the wires is reduced by swiping the wires in a lateral direction using a two-finger member. The swipe operation bends the wires down to reduce the overall height and reduces the stress created by the wires in the electrical pad bonds and allows the slider gimbal the freedom to move.

A method of manufacturing a transducer suspension system for a data storage disk drive device having electrical wires strung along the top surface of the suspension, by bending the wires around the distal end of the suspension and connecting the wires to electrical pads on the transducer slider below. The height of the wires is reduced by swiping the wires in a lateral direction using a two-finger member. The swipe operation bends the wires down to reduce the overall height and reduces the stress created by the wires in the electrical pad bonds and allows the slider gimbal the freedom to move.

Method of manufacturing a transducer suspension system

The disk drive system has rotatably mounted spaced apart magnetic disks, a disk motor for rotating the disks, an actuator hub, a motor for rotating the actuator hub, and a control circuit for controlling the disk motor and the actuator hub motor to permit selective positioning of read/write heads over the disks. The actuator hub has an actuator arm extending radially therefrom. The actuator arm has an open slot located on the perimeter of the actuator arm. A head gimbal assembly for mounting the read/write heads to the actuator arm has a boss located on a proximal end of the head gimbal assembly. The boss registers with the open slot and is sized such that when the boss is swaged while within the open slot an outer surface of the boss expands into an inner surface of the open slot so that the spud and the open slot keep the head gimbal assembly fixedly attached to the actuator arm.

A sort tray characterized by two sorting sections hinged together along a common wall. The sorting sections, which are substantially mirror images of each other, can be folded together to allow compact storage of the sort tray. Sliding gates are provided at the mouths of the sorting sections to permit the contents of one of the sorting sections to be poured out without pouring out the contents of the other section.

A tool is disclosed for lifting and carrying a bundle of shakes or shingles by hooking onto the band of material that holds the bundle together. The tool includes a handle and at least two hooks attached to the handle for engaging the band of the bundle. The handle is designed to prevent the skinning of a roofer's knuckles or the pinching of his fingers by providing adequate separation between a grip portion of the handle and a portion of the handle that supports the hooks. The hooks include offsets which help align the tool with the center of gravity of the bundle and may be provided with gaffs to ease their insertion under the band. In certain embodiments of this invention the handle is modified to provide a sharp cutting edge for puncturing, chopping or slicing through the band.
