A flexible electric cable for the electric power supply of planes on the ground is subjected to an unspooling and spooling process, the cable having a conductor layout including a plurality of insulated energy supply conductors which are arranged concentrically with respect to a longitudinal central axis of the generally circular in cross-section cable, several insulated neutral conductors which are arranged concentrically with respect to the central axis, and several insulated control conductors which are arranged concentrically with respect to the central axis. A non-metallic, tension- and compression-resistant support member is disposed at the center of the cable, which support member extends over the length of the cable. At least the energy supply conductors include CCA wires having a copper content of at least 15%.

Power supply cable for planes on the ground

An electrical line for the connection of non-stationary electrical loads to a power source is specified which has a line core surrounded by a jacket () of insulating material. Four wires (), stranded together to form one star quad (S), for the transmission of data, and also two wires () stranded together to form a pair of wires (A) and used for supplying power are placed in the line core. The star quad (S) and the pair of wires (A) are stranded together as stranding elements for forming the line core and, over the same, a layer () of insulating material is placed, over which a braid or a stranded cover layer of copper wires is arranged in a first layer () as part of an electrical screen. At least one layer of a fleece material consisting of synthetic material and made electrically conductive is placed over the first layer () as second layer () of the electrical screen and the fleece material is surrounded by the jacket () of insulating material.

Flexible electric cable

A flexible electric line for movable loads is specified which has at least two wires, in each case consisting of an electrical conductor and an insulation surrounding it, as stranded elements which are stranded around a core consisting of insulating material with dents extending in the longitudinal direction in which the stranded elements lie. In the core, a non-metallic tension- and compression-resistant carrier enclosed by a layer of insulating material is centrally arranged. The layer of insulating material consists of an impressible material remaining permanently elastic, which completely fills the internal interstices between the stranded elements, and it is surrounded by a sliding layer of a material having good sliding characteristics compared with the stranded elements.

Flexible electric line

An electrical conductor L is specified, which has a central core () and at least two layers which are arranged above the core () and are composed of electrically conductive individual wires, which are twisted around the core () in a first layer () and around the first layer () in a second layer (). The individual wires of the first layer () are steel wires with an ultimate tensile strength of between 800 N/mmand 2000 N/mm, and the individual wires of the second layer () are copper wires with an ultimate tensile strength of between 250 N/mmand 400 N/mm. A wire composed of a soft-annealed copper with an ultimate tensile strength of at least 210 N/mmis used as the core (). The lay length of the copper wires () is between 8&#xd7;D and 18&#xd7;D where D is the diameter of the conductor L over the second layer.

Electrical conductor

The invention specifies an electrical cable with at least two electrical conductor cores (), which are stranded together, and each of which consists of an electrical conductor () enclosed in insulation (), and with a sheath () of insulating material that encloses the conductor cores (). To protect the cable, which in itself is fully functional, from red-hot particles, the sheath (), which has a wall thickness of at least 0.5 mm, is covered with a barrier in the form of a flameproof strip (), which is wound in at least one course with overlapping edges. The strip () is covered with a layer () of a material that swells when exposed to moisture and that is surrounded by an outer sheath () of insulating material.

Electrical cable

A data transmission cable for connection to mobile devices, which has at least two insulated conductors () twisted together into a pair. The pair is enclosed by an electric shield () over which a jacket () made of an insulating material is applied. To preserve the function of the cable even if it is subject to frequently alternating bending and torsional stresses, the two conductors () insulated with a solid unfoamed material are twisted together with two first strands () made of a foamed insulating material to form a core (S). The core (S) is enclosed by a foil () made of a foamed insulating material, and the shield () formed around the first foil () has at least one metal strip that is made of an electrically well-conducting material and is formed into a closed tubular sleeve.

Data transmission cable for connection to mobile devices

An electrical cable (K) has at least two strands ( ) consisting of insulated conductors ( ) stranded together. Insulation on the strands ( ) consists of an inner layer in contact with the conductor, and which is softer than an outer layer. The strands ( ) are surrounded by an inner sheathing ( ). The cable (K) also has an electric shield ( ) and an outer sheathing ( ). A separator layer ( ) is between the strands ( ) and the inner sheathing ( ), consisting of an inner layer ( ) fixedly joined together with an outer layer ( ). The electric shield ( ) consists of at least one essentially closed tubular metallic layer and a stranded layer and/or braiding of metallic wires in contact with the metallic layer.

Electric cable for connection of mobile electric consumers

The invention relates to an electrical line (L) having at least one electrical conductor ( ) enclosed by temperature-resistant insulation ( ) which ensures the functionality of the line ( ) in case of fire. To minimize the fire load of the line ( ), the insulation ( ) comprises at least one multifilament thread ( ) made of glass which is wound around the conductor ( ) and whose windings are contiguous so as to create a completely closed sleeve ( ) for the conductor ( ). A thin protective layer ( ) of a halogen-free, temperature-resistant insulation material is applied all over the sleeve ( ).
