An octagonal shaped foldable box having a flap locking system. The foldable box includes: eight sidewall sections; a pair of opposing locking flaps extending from two of the eight sidewall sections, each opposing locking flap having a generally trapezoidal shaped tab cut therein for locking a first opposed locking flap with a second opposed locking flap; and a pair of opposing interior flaps, wherein each opposing interior flap extends from three of the eight sidewall sections, and wherein each opposing interior flap includes a first and a second flap edge, and each flap edge includes a fold-over region for forming a sealed corner with two sidewall sections.

Box flap locking system with sift-proof bottom

The invention provides a foldable box design having a box flap locking system, comprising: a first flap having an edge with a generally trapezoidal shaped tab cut therein, wherein said generally trapezoidal shaped tab is defined by two inwardly projecting grooves; and a second flap that locks with the first flap, wherein the second flap includes an edge with a second generally trapezoidal shaped tab cut therein, and wherein said second generally trapezoidal shaped tab is defined by two outwardly projecting grooves.

Box flap locking system

A lift van system that includes: a top and bottom cap, each comprising a folded sheet, wherein each folded sheet has substantially similar design specifications; first and second side wall sections, each comprising a single sheet, wherein the first and second side wall sections have substantially similar design specifications; and a cardboard pallet, wherein the pallet fits into the bottom cap.

Lift van system

A container mainly intended for the containment and transport of liquids, free flowing materials, and the like. The container includes a fiberboard container body, a top fiberboard pad, a lifting sling, and a liner bag. The container body includes top and bottom closures and side walls. The lifting sling includes a sling body and a plurality of lifting straps. The sling body is located inside the container body and the lifting straps extend through gabled corner apertures in the top closure. The liner bag fits inside the sling body, contains the flowable materials, and is removably attachable to a top pad of the top closure. The lifting sling arrangement permits the containers to be individually lifted by fork lift trucks and other standard material handling equipment. The bottom closure includes is self-locking and includes four panels. At least two of the panels of the bottom closure include overlapping apertures which permit a user to reach his forearm inside the container and manipulate the panels for assembly.

Shipping container

The present invention is a collapsible, multi-wall fiberboard container which is fixedly attached to a pallet. The container is particularly designed to hold flowable type materials such as sludge or particulates, and may be used for containing, transporting, storing or disposing of hazardous waste. The container is preferably a double wall, tubular member having opposed side panels and opposed end panels, with the end panels being generally normal to the side panels. The container also includes top and bottom flaps hingedly connected to the end and side panels. Three of the bottom flaps are formed as a half bellows. The remaining bottom flap is adapted to be attached to a pallet. Preferably, the top flaps are also of a regular slotted design. Laminated and glued to the interior of the container is a triple wall reinforcing member in the preferred embodiment. A polybag liner may be used in the container.

Hazardous waste disposal container

A bag-less box for flowable materials constructed of a preferably single-wall outer covering, a preferably triple wall liner glued to the inner panel surfaces thereof, and a lid positionable on the outer covering when folded in and assembled. The outer covering is formed by cutting and folding a corrugated blank to define interconnected panels, top flaps and bottom flaps. Gusset fold areas are formed by diagonal through-cuts in the bottom flaps at flap corners adjacent the panels. With the gusset fold areas and the bottom flaps folded in, a self-sealing box bottom is defined such that a liner bag is not needed.
