A connector arrangement comprising a connector and a cable connected to the connector, each comprising at least one conductor pair for transmitting a differential signal, wherein the cable comprises a first portion and a second portion, in which the conductor pair comprises electric contacts, and wherein the conductors are at a first mutual distance in the first portion and a second mutual distance in the second portion, the second mutual distance being greater than the first distance, wherein an intermediate portion is formed between the first portion and the second portion, in which intermediate portion the distance between the conductors of a conductor pair increases in the direction of an interface-side end of the connector, wherein the conductor pair is guided in an unshielded cable in the first portion, and wherein the conductors are surrounded by an external conductor in at least one part of the intermediate portion.

Connector arrangement

The invention relates to an electrical connector assembly, comprising an electrical connector and a cable connected to the electrical connector, which each have at least one conductor pair for transferring a differential signal, wherein the cable has a first section and the electrical connector has a second section, in which second section the conductor pair has plug contacts, and wherein the conductors have a first mutual distance (X) in the first section and a second mutual distance (Y) in the second section, which second mutual distance is greater than the first distance, wherein an intermediate section, in which the distance of the conductors of a conductor pair increases toward a plugging end of the electrical connector, is formed between the first section and the second section, wherein the conductor pair is surrounded by a conductor pair shield in the first section and/or in the second section, which conductor pair shield shields the conductor pair from external electromagnetic influences, and wherein the conductors are surrounded by a conductor shield in at least part of the intermediate section, which conductor shield shields the conductors from external electromagnetic influences and from electromagnetic influences of the other conductor. The invention further relates to a method for signal transfer.

Electrical connector assembly

An insertion-type connecting arrangement having at least one first and one second insertion-type connector and an arrangement of insertion points having at least one first and one second insertion point for the insertion of the insertion-type connectors, there being connected to the first insertion-type connector two or more cores laid up at a preset first lay length and to the second insertion-type connector two or more cores laid up at a preset second lay length, having a coding mechanism which allows the first insertion-type connector to be inserted in the first insertion point but not in the second one and which allows the second insertion-type connector to be inserted in the second insertion point but not in the first one.

Coded insertion-type connection arrangement

A method for transmitting three data signals from a USB signal in which the first data signal is transmitted differentially via a first conductor pair and the second data signal is transmitted differentially via a second conductor pair. A signal portion of the third data signal is transmitted as a common mode component via the first conductor pair and a reference portion of the third data signal is transmitted as a common mode component via the second conductor pair. A USB transmission system for carrying out this method and an adapter for a USB transmission system are presented.

Method for transmitting a USB signal and USB transmission system

A cable arrangement of at least two cables which extend adjacently in a substantially parallel manner, a first cable and a second cable of which each having at least one stranding group which has two or more conductors that are twisted together. The length of lay of each of the stranding groups varies in the longitudinal direction of the individual cables. In addition, the length of lay of a stranding group winding of the stranding group of the first cable is smaller than the length of lay of a most directly adjacent stranding group winding of the stranding group of the second cable.

Cable arrangement

An insertion-type connector having a housing and at least two contact elements fixed within the housing, which are designed for connection to two cores of a twisted-pair cable, wherein the housing forms a guide by which the cores are fixed in a twist which continues the twist of the twisted-pair cable. A system having such an insertion-type connector and a twisted-pair cable is taught, and a method of producing the same.

Insertion-type connector having a twisted-pair cable

A plug connector having a housing and at least four contact elements arranged within the housing to transmit high-frequency signals, wherein two contact elements respectively form a contact element pair, each of which is integrated into an insulating body. In that arrangement, the insulating bodies are each surrounded by a shield.

Plug connector

A data cable with at least two conductors for a differential transmission of data signals as well as a casing which surrounds the conductors. Each of the conductors has a conductor shield. The data cable uses asymmetrical data signals transmitted together with differential data signals via at least one of the at least two conductors.

Data cable

A switch for electrically connecting at least two lines as and when required, having a housing having at least two terminals for the lines to be connected to, having a first conductor connected to a first terminal and a second conductor connected to a second terminal and having a connecting conductor which can be brought into contact with the two conductors by an actuating device in order to close the switch, wherein at least one of the conductors and the connecting conductor are in contact indirectly via a dielectric when the switch is in the closed state.

Switch

A connector having a housing and a plurality of contact element pairs fixed inside the housing, wherein at least two contact element pairs are arranged adjacent to each other in one row and at least one contact element pair is spaced from the row at identical spacings from the at least two contact element pairs in the row, and wherein a shielding element is arranged between the contact element pairs of the row and the further contact element pair.
