A coaxial connector has a first coaxial connector portion () and a second coaxial connector portion (). The first coaxial connector portion () has an external conductor which is designed as a coaxial socket and the distal end of which is designed as a spring cage () with individual spring lugs (). The second coaxial connector portion () has an external conductor () which is designed as a coaxial plug. An electrical and mechanical connection exists between the spring lugs () of the first coaxial connector portion () and an external shell surface of the external conductor () of the second coaxial connector portion (). In the region of each gap () that is situated between in each case two adjacent spring lugs (), there is provided at least one shielding component (') which is connected respectively to one of the two adjacent spring lugs (). A multiple coaxial connector portion has multiple first coaxial connector portion is arranged in a housing ().

Coaxial connector

A connector arrangement comprising a connector and a cable connected to the connector, each comprising at least one conductor pair for transmitting a differential signal, wherein the cable comprises a first portion and a second portion, in which the conductor pair comprises electric contacts, and wherein the conductors are at a first mutual distance in the first portion and a second mutual distance in the second portion, the second mutual distance being greater than the first distance, wherein an intermediate portion is formed between the first portion and the second portion, in which intermediate portion the distance between the conductors of a conductor pair increases in the direction of an interface-side end of the connector, wherein the conductor pair is guided in an unshielded cable in the first portion, and wherein the conductors are surrounded by an external conductor in at least one part of the intermediate portion.

Connector arrangement

The invention relates to an electrical connector assembly, comprising an electrical connector and a cable connected to the electrical connector, which each have at least one conductor pair for transferring a differential signal, wherein the cable has a first section and the electrical connector has a second section, in which second section the conductor pair has plug contacts, and wherein the conductors have a first mutual distance (X) in the first section and a second mutual distance (Y) in the second section, which second mutual distance is greater than the first distance, wherein an intermediate section, in which the distance of the conductors of a conductor pair increases toward a plugging end of the electrical connector, is formed between the first section and the second section, wherein the conductor pair is surrounded by a conductor pair shield in the first section and/or in the second section, which conductor pair shield shields the conductor pair from external electromagnetic influences, and wherein the conductors are surrounded by a conductor shield in at least part of the intermediate section, which conductor shield shields the conductors from external electromagnetic influences and from electromagnetic influences of the other conductor. The invention further relates to a method for signal transfer.

Electrical connector assembly

The present invention relates to an outer conductor arrangement for a connector, having an outer conductor base body and an outer conductor ring, wherein the outer conductor base body has a plurality of contact lugs, wherein the outer conductor ring is mounted on an interface-side end of the outer conductor base body, has at least one protrusion or recess and has a closed structure, wherein the outer conductor ring is designed to protect the contact lugs from mechanical force influences.
