Accessible swing

Embodiments of an interactive play system are provided. In one such embodiment, an interactive play system includes a satellite having a sensor. The satellite is integrated within a component included within a playground environment. A feedback mechanism is also provided within the playground environment. A computing device supports a selective change between a first programming state in which the feedback mechanism will respond to an actuation of the sensor based on a computer instruction provided by a system administrator and a second programming state in which the feedback mechanism will respond to an actuation of the sensor based on a computer instruction provided by someone other than a system administrator.

Interactive play system

Online retailers may operate a network of computing systems in order to provide an electronic marketplace to customers. The network of computing systems may be responsible for maintaining and providing different data to the customers of the online retailer. When a customer transmits a request to the online retailer the request may be divided into a set of tasks that may be executed in parallel by the computing systems. The data generated by executing the various tasks may be cached for various periods of time. Furthermore, log information may be generated based at least in part on execution of the various tasks. The logs may record data on initial access along with an identifier associated with the cached data. For subsequent tasks requiring cached data the log may include only the identifier associated with the cached data.

A network-based scalable production load test service may be implemented on a provider network including a plurality of computing devices in order to provide load testing for network-based production systems. In some embodiments, the plurality of computing devices is configured to receive a request to capture to a load test data repository items of transaction data for a network-based production service. In some embodiments, the plurality of computing devices is configured to capture to the load test data repository the items of transaction data. The transaction data include input to the network-based production service over a network. In some embodiments, in response to a load test specification received by the scalable production load test service, the plurality of computing devices is configured to dynamically allocate one or more resources to perform a load test of the network-based production service according to the load test specification.

A rotating playground device includes a center post installed at a mounting point, located below ground such that the center post extends substantially perpendicularly above ground. The rotating playground device also includes a rotating platform rotatably coupled to the center post such that the rotating platform rotates about the center post. A metallophone structure configured for permanent installation in an outdoor environment is provided. The metallophone structure comprises a mounting structure. The metallophone structure also comprises a set of tone producing devices each coupled to the mounting structure by a fastener, wherein each tone producing device is configured to, when actuated, produce a sound frequency. The tone producing device is coupled in a location, by the fastener, as to reduce the effect on the quality of sound produced. The metallophone structure also comprises a mallet cradle configured to receive a mallet. The mallet is configured to actuate one of the tone producing devices. The metallophone structure is configured to be weather resistant such that each tone producing device still produces the sound frequency after an outdoor exposure period.

A system for spreading tension at a rope connection point on a structure is provided. The system comprises a connection mechanism configured to receive a rope. The system also comprises a fastening mechanism configured to couple the connection mechanism to the structure at the rope connection point. The rope is configured to enter the connection mechanism at an inlet point and exit the connection mechanism at an outlet point, such that a tension applied to the rope is spread between the inlet point and the outlet point.
