Disclosed is a cleaning device for cleaning items to be cleaned. The cleaning device has at least one cleaning chamber and at least one covering device at least partially surrounding the cleaning chamber. The covering device can be moved in an opening movement direction from a closed position into an open position or in a closing movement direction from an open position into a closed position by means of at least one electromechanical drive via at least one transmission. The cleaning device furthermore has a sensor, which is designed to detect an action of a manual force on the covering device in the opening movement direction or in the closing movement direction. The cleaning device is furthermore designed to control the electromechanical drive in accordance with the detection of the action of the manual force.

The invention proposes a cleaning device () for cleaning articles () to be cleaned. The cleaning device () comprises at least one cleaning chamber () and at least one application device () for applying at least one cleaning fluid to the articles () to be cleaned in the cleaning chamber (). The controller () is further designed to detect at least one utilization variable. The utilization variable characterizes a current utilization of the cleaning device (). The controller () further has at least one counting device () which is designed to cumulate utilization times of the cleaning device () which are weighted with the weighting and to generate at least one item of use information about a use of the cleaning device () therefrom.

A proposal is made for a disposal apparatus for disposing of food leftovers. The disposal apparatus comprises at least one comminuter, which has at least one grinding chamber and at least one collecting chamber. The grinding chamber is connected to the collecting chamber via one or more openings. At least one comminuting device having at least one impact tool for comminuting the food leftovers is arranged in the grinding chamber. In addition, at least one mixing device for generating a movement in the food leftovers is arranged in the grinding chamber. A method for disposing of food leftovers is furthermore proposed.

A cleaning apparatus for cleaning articles to be cleaned includes at least one cleaning chamber; at least one conveying device configured to convey the articles to be cleaned in a conveying direction through the cleaning chamber, the at least one conveying device comprising a plurality of tracks arranged side by side; at least one nozzle system configured to act upon the articles to be cleaned with at least one cleaning fluid; at least one sensor configured to detect a loading of the conveying device with articles to be cleaned; and at least one control means programmed to select at least one operating mode of the cleaning apparatus corresponding to the loading of the conveying device detected by the sensor, and to propose the selected operating mode to a user of the cleaning apparatus by providing a visual indicator on one or several tracks of the conveying device.
