A lighting element with a light emitting device preferably in the form of a light emitting diode, can be fitted in a light carrier. The lighting element has a light-transmissive lens body with a lens-shaped light entry surface and a light exit surface and the light exit surface is smaller than the light entry surface. A starry sky lighting configuration for example in an aircraft cabin, can be implemented with a plurality of such lighting elements.

Lighting element with a light emitting device

An apparatus for lighting or illuminating spaces, bodies or surfaces, which is formed from a plurality of light emitting diodes ( ). The light emitting diodes ( ) are radially enclosed by a casing body ( ) which is adjoined at the end by a tubular element ( ) which bears against a lens ( ). A set spacing is thereby established between the light emitting diode ( ) and the lens ( ). All light spots issuing from the light emitting diode ( ) are projected to form a single light spot of a high level of brightness by virtue of the superimposed relationship at a spacing in front of the lens ( ).

Apparatus for lighting spaces, bodies or surfaces

A lighting arrangement for a space or compartment (2) which can be closed off, with a fire-proofing ceiling (3), in particular for receiving freight in passenger aircraft, comprising lighting units (6) arranged in the fire-proofing ceiling (3), which for the purposes of static load relief of the fire-proofing ceiling (3) and at the same time for a better lighting effect for the space or compartment (2), has the following features: a plurality of through openings (19) are arranged in distributed fashion in the fire-proofing ceiling (3), fire-resistant light coupling-out elements (16) are arranged in the through openings (19) in such a way that their light cones (9) intersect in the space or compartment (2) and the light coupling-out elements (16) are connected by way of optical waveguides (14) to at least one common light source (15).

Lighting arrangement for freight compartments

An electrical switch incorporating a pushbutton, which is actuatable in opposition to the biasing action of a spring. A permanent magnet is provided in the switch housing as an axial extension of the pushbutton; having a coil arranged opposite thereof which has its distal end surface contacting against an acoustic sensor which is in connection with the contact pins. Hereby, a switching pusher can axially connect with the pushbutton which projects from the housing, at the end of which pusher there is mounted a permanent magnet interiorly of the housing, which is arranged at an axial spacing with regard to the facing end surface of the coil in the unactuated condition of the switch, and in the presence of a depressed pushbutton, is arranged with only a narrow gap axially in front of the coil core.

Electrical switch

A lamp holder for fluorescent lamps, which incorporates a latching arrangement, especially for utilization in the passenger cabin of airplanes. The lamp holder includes two adjacently located inserting slots for the lateral or end-projecting contact pins of the fluorescent lamp, into which inserting slots there project retaining pins, which are displaceable opposite a spring force, for effecting the latching of the contact pins; wherein an unlatching knob or pushbutton is adapted to act on the retaining pins, and wherein there is present a guiding channel extending in parallel with the inserting slots for the guidance of the fluoescent lamp. In the area of the guiding channel, there may also be arranged resilient elements extending in parallel with the inserting slots for the retention of the fluorescent lamp in its ejected position.
