A locking and bolting unit for sections telescoping out of a basic element, in particular sections of a telescoping boom of a mobile crane. The invention involves a locking and bolting unit for sections telescoping out of a basic element, in particular sections of a telescoping boom of a mobile crane, comprising two safety bolts () arranged displaceably relative to each other, and an interlocking bolt () interacting with a grasper (). Moreover, the safety bolts () and an extension of the grasper () constructed as a piston rod () are positioned together in a lower housing section vertically displaceable in relation to each other and the piston () for the piston rod () of the grasper () is located in an upper housing part () placed on a lower housing part ().

Locking and bolting unit

A crane having a telescoping boom whose sections, are arranged in a base boom that can telescope individually, in and out, after disengaging locking pin connections that are secured in the respective moved out or moved in positions by locking pins. A guide profile head is arranged at an end remote of the articulation of the safety locking unit to the inner end of the base boom. To lengthen the boom without substantially changing the telescopic system itself, the guide profile head is detachably fastened to the safety locking unit. An additional guide frame, whose length is dimensioned corresponding to the length of the telescoping boom that has been expanded by additional sections inserted in the telescoping boom, is mounted in place of the guide profile head, and that a guide profile head can be arranged at the free end of the guide frame.

A locking unit for a telescopic system of a hydraulically actuated telescopic jib of a crane, having a jib box frame and a plurality of telescopic sections which are guided inside one another and can be moved out of a starting position into in each case at least one extended position is provided with a drive for moving at least one driver bolt of a locking unit into and out of a section receptive driver bolt opening, and for moving a coupling device for displacement of at least one locking bolt into and out of a locking bolt receptive opening, the drive being arranged fixedly on the box frame of the jib, there being a mechanical drive connection between the drive and the locking unit.

Locking unit for a telescopic jib of a crane and telescopic jib

A crane includes a telescopic jib having telescopic jib sections and a base jib. The telescopic sections are arranged so that they can be axially moved into and out of the base jib individually. Locking pins are used hold the telescopic sections in place once they are in the required position. A hydraulic piston-cylinder unit arranged in the telescopic jib can push or pull individual jib sections when the respective locking bolts are removed. The movable portion of the piston-cylinder unit has two securing and locking units located at opposing ends of the movable portion. To move the jib section, one of the securing and locking units is connected to the jib section to be moved and the movement of the movable portions pushed or pulls the telescopic section. Once the jib section is moved to a desired position, the locking pin is reinserted to hold the position of the jib section. Since there are two securing and locking units, the piston-cylinder unit is approximately half the length of the telescopic section.

A telescopic boom section for a mobile crane including an upper inverted U-shaped longitudinal section and a lower convexo-concave longitudinal section. The upper section and the lower section are welded to each other along the seams formed by the longitudinal edges of the upper and the lower sections such that the concave surface of the lower section and the U-shaped wall of the upper section defines a cavity therewithin. The lower section includes a plurality of arcuate segments disposed sequentially across the concave surface and which are formed by a cold roll die.
