The present invention relates to a heat shield () for a supercharging device (), comprising a first ring portion (), which is situated at the outside in a radial direction () and which is designed to bear the heat shield (), and a second ring portion (), which is situated at the inside in a radial direction () and which extends from the first ring portion (). The second ring portion () has at least one structure-stiffening feature (), the at least one structure-stiffening feature () being of bead-like form.

Heat shield for a supercharging device

A bearing housing () of an exhaust-gas turbocharger, having an oil guide to at least one bearing point () in the bearing housing (). The oil guide is formed by at least one of bores and cutouts in the bearing housing (). There is formed in the oil guide a siphon () which is integrated into the bearing housing ().

Bearing housing of an exhaust-gas turbocharger

A hydrodynamic axial bearing is provided with segments arranged on a circular ring on axial bearings, wherein a plurality of pressure fields are built up. The length of the individual segments is defined in the circumferential direction, between a first edge and a second edge. The first edge delimits the wedge surface of the segments. In fast-rotating bearings, the ratio of segment width to segment length has a decisive influence on the attainable load-bearing capacity and resulting friction losses. The load-bearing capacity and friction losses are improved by increasing the segment length more intensely with increasing radius. The first edge does not run straight but rather has steps, is arcuate or has linear portions with different gradients.

Axial bearing arrangement

An exhaust-gas turbocharger with a bearing housing which receives a static bearing bush for a rotor shaft. A lug supported in the bearing housing engages the bearing bush and prevents the bearing bush from rotating but avoids a restriction of the freedom of movement of the bearing bush in the axial and radial directions.

Exhaust-gas turbocharger

An exhaust-gas turbocharger (), having a shaft () on which a compressor wheel () and a turbine wheel () are arranged, and a bearing housing () which has a turbine-side radial bearing bush () and which has an oil collecting chamber () arranged between the turbine-side radial bearing bush () and a turbine-side bearing housing end region (). The shaft () has a shoulder () which extends outward in the radial direction (R) into the oil collecting chamber () and, together with a radial-bearing-side first delimiting wall () of the oil collecting chamber (), delimits a gap ().

The invention relates to a turbocharger () comprising a compressor (), a turbine connected to the compressor () by means of a shaft () and provided with an exhaust inlet () and an exhaust outlet (), and a bypass line () which branches off from the exhaust inlet (), bypassing the turbine, and leads to the exhaust outlet in which a boost-pressure regulating flap is arranged, said regulating flap comprising a flap plate () which is connected to a flap shaft () by means of a connecting device ().
