A ballast seal for a sealing ring includes: a substantially annular potential equalization ring made of an electrically-conductive material and which can be brought into contact in a sealing manner with a surface to be sealed of a machine element to be sealed; and at least one shielding ring made of a soft magnetic material so as to shield against electromagnetic interfering waves.

Ballast seal

Sealing element for producing an electrically conductive connection between a first machine element and a second machine element, comprising at least one disc-shaped conducting element and a support ring, the support ring comprising an axial flange and a radial flanged, the conducting element being formed from an electrically conductive foil, and the conducting element being secured at least in sections along the axial flange between the support ring and the second machine element.

Sealing element

A seal includes: a sealing ring made of a sealing material; and at least one shielding ring made a soft magnetic material for shielding against electromagnetic interfering waves. In an embodiment, the at least one shielding ring is formed by a ferrite ring. An axial shaft seal disposed between a housing wall and a rotating shaft includes an outer ring insertable into the housing wall in a stationary and sealing manner and an inner ring connectable to the shaft in a non-twisting and sealing manner. The outer ring includes a sleeve having a polymer material extending radially inward and having a spring bellows form. A radially inward end portion of the sleeve has a first sealing surface. The inner ring includes a ring flange extending radially outward so as to provide a second sealing surface for axially mating the first sealing face.
