The present invention relates to an insert element () for transmitting a force for a camshaft adjustment system. The insert element () has a first region () with an end surface () for receiving the force, and a second region () for conducting away the force. The end surface () is arranged in such a manner that it has, by means of a locking element (), at least one force transmission point for receiving the force. The second region () is arranged in such a manner that it has, by means of a stator element (), a force transmission surface for conducting away the force.

Locking element for camshaft adjustors

A device for adjusting the angle of rotation between two rotating shafts, in particular a drive shaft of a reciprocating-piston internal combustion engine and a camshaft for actuating gas-exchange valves is provided, having a rotation element that is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the drive shaft, a rotor that is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the camshaft, and an angle of rotation adjustment system with a locking device which has at least one locking bolt, which is mounted movably in one of the components, and at least one corresponding opening in the other component. The locking bolt can be displaced into and out of the opening by a spring and/or hydraulic force.

Camshaft adjuster with a locking system

A camshaft adjuster () for an internal combustion engine is provided, in which the relative angular position between a driving gear () and an output element that is allocated to the camshaft can be adjusted by hydraulically impinging pressure chambers located between an inner and outer rotor. The outer rotor and the gear ring of the driving gear () are joined to each other via fastening elements (). In order to create a particularly compact camshaft adjuster (), the fastening elements are located at least in part at a distance from the longitudinal axis of the camshaft adjuster () which is smaller than the external radius () of the pressure chambers.

Camshaft adjuster for an internal combustion engine

A camshaft adjuster () for an internal combustion engine is provided, which includes a housing () and in which a relative angular position between a driving gear (') and an output element allocated to the camshaft is adjustable. In a first connection region (), the housing is connected in a fixed manner to a support element () which is connected in a fixed fashion to a plastic toothed ring () in a radially outward direction in a second connection region (). The outer surface of the carrier element () fits an inner surface of the toothed ring () in the second connection region (). The carrier element () makes it possible to bridge the radial gap between the toothed ring () and the outer surface of the housing (), and the second connection region accurately predefines a position of the toothed ring ().

A camshaft adjuster () for an internal combustion engine is provided, wherein the relative angle between a drive wheel () and an inner rotor associated with a camshaft can be adjusted via hydraulic loading of pressure spaces () between an outer rotor () and the inner rotor (), wherein the drive wheel () is made of plastic and the outer rotor () associated with the drive wheel () is made of metal. Particularly good linkage can be obtained and mounting complexity can be reduced by having at least one bearing surface between the outer rotor () and the inner rotor () that is connected with a firmly bonded material or positive fit in the drive wheel that is made from plastic.

A locking unit of a camshaft adjuster () for an internal combustion engine is provided, in which a locking pin () establishes a positive connection between a driving element and a driven element of the camshaft adjuster (). The driving element and/or the driven element are formed by a plastic part. An insert () against which the locking pin () rests and which is supported relative to the plastic part in the area of an inner and outer contour is inserted into the plastic part. Providing large area support of the contours makes it possible to use plastic as a material in spite of the great stress that occurs, particular attention being paid to a good introduction of force into the plastic part.
