A plug connector for transmitting high-frequency signals includes an inner-conductor and an outer-conductor contact, and an insulator arranged therebetween. A receptacle is formed by the outer-conductor contact and is configured to receive a mating plug connector to establish a connection. A catch basket is: formed by the outer-conductor contact, and/or arranged in the receptacle and is configured to produce contacting between the outer-conductor contact and the mating plug connector in a connected state of the plug connector and the mating plug connector. The catch basket comprises a main body and a spring element having a first and second free end. The spring element is connected to the main body by torsion bridges such that the spring element is configured to tilt when the plug connector and mating plug connector are being connected, and such that the free ends are configured to press against the mating plug connector.

Plug connector and plug connector system

A plug connector for transmitting high-frequency signals includes a cable, a contact and a connecting element. The cable has a free end. The contact is mounted on the free end of the cable, and has a free contact end on a side facing away from the cable. The connecting element is disposed between the contact and the cable, and, in an assembled state, is fixedly connected to the contact and to the cable. The connecting element has a first portion with a first outer diameter on a side facing the contact and a second portion with a second outer diameter on a side facing the cable, the second outer diameter being larger than the first outer diameter. The first portion includes a third portion that has, at least in some regions of the third portion, an outer diameter corresponding to the second outer diameter.

Plug connector and plug connector assembly

An electrical connector for connection to a complementary mating connector includes a housing having at least one socket and at least one contact assembly which is disposed at least partially within the socket. A fastening element secures the contact assembly within the socket. A secondary retention means is movable between a pre-latched position and a final latched position, and, in the final latched position, prevents the fastening element from releasing securement of the contact assembly in the socket. The housing has a fastening groove extending along the socket at least along a portion of its length for securing the secondary retention means. In the final latched position, the secondary retention means engages by at least one latching element in the fastening groove.

Electrical connector

A connecting device includes a plug connector receivable into a receiving space of a mating connector. In a connection position, a latching arm of the plug connector is engaged with a latch receiver of the mating connector. The plug connector has a securing unit for locking and releasing the latching arm. The mating connector has a counterstop element which, when the plug connector is introduced into the receiving space, strikes a deflection chamfer of the securing unit and deflects a securing arm of the securing unit perpendicularly to the direction of insertion and in parallel to a base side of the plug connector so that, in the connection position, a stop surface of the securing unit is arranged at an offset from a stopper element of the securing unit, and the securing unit is movable into a locked position.

Connecting device having a plug connector and a mating connector

A cable having a pluggable connector includes an inner conductor, an insulation disposed radially outwardly with respect to the inner conductor, a shield disposed radially outwardly with respect to the insulation and a jacket. A support ferrule has a plurality of tongues extending in a direction having an axial component. A sleeve has a first section, a second section and a third section. The first and second sections are disposed radially outwardly with respect to the support ferrule. The second section has a radial constriction. The sleeve encloses the tongues of the support ferrule in the second section and encloses the jacket in the third section. The second section is disposed in the axial direction between the first section and the third section.
