A compact, inflatable medical backboard device is disclosed herein. The backboard device comprises an inflatable backboard, a protective cover, one or more straps for handling the backboard, a protective layer, a housing, and a wheel assembly for easily transporting the device, and that also serves as a pump for purposes of inflating the backboard if a source of compressed gas is not readily available. The medical backboard device can also be used as a shield to protect a user from small arms fire and other unwanted projectiles, and is easily adaptable to its surroundings.

Medical backboard/stretcher device

A compact, inflatable and portable ballistic shield and stretcher device is disclosed herein. The combination device comprises one or more inflatable panels, a protective cover, one or more straps for handling the combination device, a protective layer, a housing, and an optional wheel assembly for easily transporting the device, and that may also serve as a pump for purposes of inflating the inflatable panels if a source of compressed gas is not readily available. The panels of the portable ballistic shield and stretcher device can be selectively inflated on demand and as needed, and the portable ballistic shield and stretcher device can also be removably attached to other portable ballistic shield and stretcher devices to form a barrier to protect a user from arms fire and other unwanted projectiles.

Portable ballistic shield and stretcher device

An improved wheel chock for use with wheeled vehicles, such as aircraft, that is both adjustable in size and that is configured for relatively easy transport, deployment and maneuverability by a single user is disclosed. The wheel chock preferably comprises a lifting end, a rolling end, at least one segment positioned between the lifting end and the rolling end, and a unique and adjustable wheel assembly. The adjustable wheel assembly may be at least partially housed in a pocket formed in the rolling end of the improved wheel chock. The wheel chock may further comprise a tether and an opening for removably attaching said wheel chock to a second wheel chock to prevent unwanted movement of a vehicle wheel in both forward and reverse directions.
