According to an aspect, an antenna module is provided. The antenna module comprises a chassis which comprises an opening or cavity at least partially. The antenna module further comprises one or more cantilever-type supporting elements which are mechanically connected, at one or more first ends of the one or more cantilever-type supporting elements, to a mechanical fixation location. The antenna module also comprises a first antenna array comprising one or more first antenna elements connected to one or more second ends of the one or more cantilever-type supporting elements for arranging the first antenna array over the opening or cavity. The one or more first antenna elements are mechanically connected to one or more radiating part handers that are assembled on an inner surface of a radome over the chassis. The radome is configured to hold the first antenna array.

Antenna module with flexible arrangement and manufacturing method thereof

An apparatus including a dipole antenna, configured for operation with a first polarization, the dipole antenna including a feed; and a pair of conductive elements fed by the feed, wherein the pair of conductive elements are grounded, and extend in parallel on opposing sides of the feed and then diverge.

Dipole antenna

A multiband antenna structure having an open rectangular box shape is arranged to provide identical electrical lengths for all of its radiating elements notwithstanding that the physical dimensions of portions of the multiband antenna may not be identical. Advantageously, such a multiband antenna may be interleaved with a 5G antenna array having unequal spacing between the 5G antennas or having an offset between at least one of the rows and the columns. This may be achieved by incorporating a dielectric material in at least one radiating element, by forming a radiating element with a serpentine shape, by having a radiating element follow a chicane, by incorporating a reflector of a 5G array, or by employing capacitive coupling.

Multiband antenna structure

An active passive antenna arrangement as made up of an array of 5G antennas interleaved with multiband antenna structures that may be low band (LB) passive antennas. The 5G antenna array may be a mMIMO active array. The LB antennas are formed using conductive elements on thin supporting sheets that fit within the space between the 5G antennas. The substrates, and hence the radiating elements of the LB antennas, may be arranged so as to generally appear to form four sides of a rectangular box with the top and bottom surfaces removed. Thus, the LB antennas may be thought of as having been 'slipped in' amongst a preexisting array of 5G antennas. Each LB antenna may surround one or more of the 5G antennas and 5G antennas of the array may also be external to an LB antenna.

An antenna comprising two sub antennas each sub antenna comprising at least one radiating element is disclosed. The two sub antennas comprise an inner sub antenna and an outer sub antenna. The antenna comprises signal feed circuitry for supplying a first signal to the inner sub antenna and signal feed circuitry for supply a second signal to the outer sub antenna. The at least one radiating element of the outer sub antenna comprises at least one flexible radiating patch mounted on a flexible material arranged to wrap at least partially around at least a portion of the inner sub antenna.

Compact antenna

An antenna comprising: a longitudinal support member for supporting components of the antenna and a method of assembling such an antenna is disclosed. The components supported by the longitudinal member comprise: at least one signal feed probe configured to capacitively supply a signal to a corresponding at least one radiating patch; the at least one radiating patch mounted to at least partially wraparound the longitudinal support member; and signal supply circuitry for supplying a signal to the at least one signal feed. The signal supply circuitry is mounted on an outer surface of the inner longitudinal support member; and the longitudinal support member is formed of a conductive material and forms a ground plane for the antenna.

Antenna and method of assembly of such antenna

The present application provides a multi-band antenna, comprising at least one low-band sub-antenna; and at least one high-band sub-antenna comprising at least one high-band dipole and a reflector; wherein the high-band dipole and/or the reflector are/is structured and positioned so that current induced in the high-band sub-antenna by the low-band sub-antenna is directed to reflector over an extended effective distance in proportion to wavelength of the low-band sub-antenna.

Multi-band antenna

A connector for coupling a coaxial cable () to a strip line comprises a first plate () to be arranged above a conductor () of the strip line to which a center conductor () of the coaxial cable () is soldered, the first plate () including: a first solder portion () to which a braid () of the coaxial cable () is soldered; and an aperture () formed adjacent to the first solder portion () and configured to prevent heat propagation of a solder point of the first solder portion () and the braid () of the coaxial cable () and to expose a solder point of the conductor () of the strip line and the center conductor () of the coaxial cable (), wherein a biggest dimension of the aperture () is shaped to be less than 5% of highest frequency wavelength.
