A process for preparing a recycle content cellulose ester and a recycle content cellulose ester composition comprising at least one cellulose ester having at least one substituent on an anhydroglucose unit (AU) derived from a recycle ethylene composition are provided.

Stretchable, multilayer films are disclosed that include a thermoplastic polyurethane substrate and a thermoset coating, applied to the thermoplastic polyurethane substrate. The thermoset coating may comprise the reaction product of: an oligomeric polyester resin comprising the reaction product of: diols or polyols comprising from about 30 to about 99 mol % trimethylolpropane and from about 1 mol % to about 70 mol % neopentyl glycol, in each case based on the total molar amount of diols and polyols reacted, and dicarboxylic acids or polycarboxylic acids comprising from about 1 mol % to about 70 mol % of one or more cyclic or acyclic aliphatic acids having from 2 to 12 carbons, based on the total molar amount of dicarboxylic acids and polycarboxylic acids reacted.

Stretchable multilayer films

Provided is an optically clear protective cover plate for Human Machine Interface (HMI) touch panel displays wherein the cover plate is formed from a thermoplastic polymer comprising a high melt flow polycarbonate. The polycarbonate is characterized by a melt flow rate (MFR), or melt flow index (MFI), of between about 60 and about 80 g/10 min (ASTM D-1238, 300° C./1.2 kg).

A copolyester resin composition is described. The copolyester resin composition includes a linear copolyester polymer and a linear copolyester oligomer. A particularly suitable linear copolyester oligomer is an intermediate of the copolyester polymer. The composition exhibits improved melt flowability and is therefore particularly useful in the manufacture of products made via injection molding methods. A process for forming the composition is also described.

An injection molded article comprising a thin-walled body portion formed from a polymer-based resin derived from cellulose, wherein the thin-walled body portion comprises:

A molded article comprising at least one polyester which comprises: (a) a dicarboxylic acid component comprising: i) 95 to 99.99 mole % of terephthalic acid residues; and ii) 0.01 to 5 mole % of isophthalic acid; and (b) a glycol component comprising: i) 5 to 15 mole % of 2,2,4,4-tetramethyl-1,3-cyclobutanediol residues; ii) 85 to 95 mole % of 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol residues; and iii) 5 mole % or less of modifying glycols which are not 2,2,4,4-tetramethyl-1,3-cyclobutanediol or cyclohexanedimethanol, wherein the polyester has an inherent viscosity from 0.80 to 1.0 dL/g and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 90 to 110&#xb0; C., and wherein the molded article does not contain polycarbonate.
