A method implemented at a location server is proposed. The method comprises: deciding inter-frequency measurement information for positioning a user equipment, UE, wherein the inter-frequency measurement information comprises at least one frequency other than a frequency of a serving cell of the UE; sending a first measurement request containing the inter-frequency measurement information to an access node of the serving cell; receiving a first measurement result from the access node; and determining a position of the UE based on the measurement result.

Method and apparatus for fingerprinting positioning

Illegitimate use of IP addresses is counteracted. A network () includes a switch () with ports (PPP) to subscribers (A) and a port (PN) to a core network () with DHCP servers (a,b). The switch includes a database (MACMAC), port numbers (PP) and VLAN identities (VLANVLAN) for the subscribers (A) and the filter has a list over trusted DHCP servers. Attempts by the subscriber to use false IP address are counted and a warning signal is generated.

Method and arrangement for preventing illegitimate use of IP addresses

A method performed by a first network node of providing a last used PLMN ID in LTE to a second network node, the first network node and the second network node operating in a wireless communications network. The method comprises providing the last used PLMN ID in LTE of a wireless device in the wireless communications network, to the second network node, as soon as a Circuit Switched, CS, call due to a CSFB procedure has been setup. The providing of the PLMN ID is performed by one of: adding information about the last used PLMN ID in LTE to an existing message from the first network node to the second network node, and defining a new message from the first network node to the second network node. A method in a user equipment for handling cell selection is provided. While in dedicated mode the user equipment receives from a radio network node a measurement information message which indicates at least two frequencies associated with a respective cell in a respective radio access technology. While it is in dedicated mode, the user equipment performs measurements on the frequencies to obtain a respective measurement value for each one of them, and receives a selection indicator message comprising a respective priority for each one of the frequencies. The user equipment obtains a respective threshold value for each of the frequencies and successively evaluates the frequencies in descending priority order until a frequency is determined for which the measurement value exceeds its respective threshold value. When entering idle mode, the user equipment selects cell based on the evaluation.

Cell selection in a cellular communication system

In a method in a central node of a cellular radio network the central node is adapted to deciding if a mobile station connected to the cellular radio network via a first radio access technology controlled by the central node is to be moved to another radio access technology when a circuit switched call of the mobile station is ended. It is assumed that the cellular radio network is adapted to use a fallback to circuit switched procedure. First it is decided that a CS call for a particular mobile station has ended. Then in it is checked if the CS call was the result of a fallback to CS procedure.
