Methods and systems to prevent adverse exchange limit effects are disclosed. An example method of message management includes tracking, at a gateway, a transaction count of trade messages communicated to an exchange via an exchange link. The example method includes defining a first transaction limit based on the transaction count, and calculating a second transaction limit as a function of the first transaction limit, wherein the second transaction limit is to correspond to a reserve capacity associated with the exchange link. The example method includes assigning a message priority to each of a plurality of trade messages to communicate to the exchange. The example method includes communicating trade messages of the plurality of trade messages having a first message priority to the exchange when the transaction count is greater than the second transaction limit, and delaying or rejecting trade messages of the plurality of trade messages having a second message priority.

Methods and systems to prevent adverse exchange limit effects

The disclosed embodiments provide trading circles. An example method includes defining a group having a plurality of members, wherein one or more of the plurality of members interacts with an exchange that facilitates market transactions; detecting a first interaction of a first group member with the exchange; and communicating, in response to detecting the first interaction, data related to the first interaction to a second group member before the first group member receives confirmation of the first interaction from the exchange.

Systems and methods to obfuscate market data on a trading device are disclosed. An example method includes receiving market data related to a tradable object at a first computing device, generating, by the first computing device, a trading interface to present the market data to a trader and reconfiguring the trading interface from a first mode to a second mode in response to a privacy command supplied by the trader via the first computing device. The first computing device is to obfuscate the market data presented by the trading interface when in the second mode. The example method includes receiving, by a second computing device, the obfuscated market data in response to the privacy command and generating, by the second computing device, a private interface to present the obfuscated market data to the trader in response to the privacy command.

Systems and methods to obfuscate market data on a trading device

Methods and apparatus to calculate and display transaction adjusted values are disclosed. An example method includes defining an order related to a tradeable object listed on an electronic exchange, wherein the order is associated with a user; determining whether the user qualifies for a pricing incentive that rewards trading activity meeting a threshold; when the user qualifies for the pricing incentive, calculating a transaction adjusted value of the order at respective ones of a plurality of price levels of a trading interface, wherein the pricing incentive is factored into the calculation of the transaction adjusted value for a first one of the price levels, and the pricing incentive is not factored into the calculation of the transaction adjusted value of a second one of the price levels; and displaying ones of the transaction adjusted values in a value axis of the trading interface in connection with respective ones of the plurality of price levels.

Methods and apparatus to calculate and present transaction adjusted values

A foot-operated mechanism (24) for actuating the rear derailleur (20) of a bicycle. The mechanism senses tension in the drive chain (22) and effects movement of the derailleur actuating cable (74) when driving tension is reduced from the drive chain (22). The actual shift of the derailleur occurs only upon reestablishment of tension in the drive chain (22) by applying a driving force to the pedals. The derailleur cable is connected, through a transfer mechanism (30), to a slotted driven wheel (42) which is normally biased into engagement with drive pins (64a) located on a drive wheel (26) which is attached to the crank mechanism (18) of the bicycle, and is moved out of engagement by a chain-engaging idler sprocket (50) attached to a pivot block (38) on which the driven wheel (42) is mounted.
