Systems and methods for combined HINS and non-HINS lighting for surface disinfection. A lighting system controller is provided, which includes a memory, an i/o interface, and an electronic processor. The processor is configured to retrieve from the memory at least one characteristic of an area to be disinfected; determine, based on a signal received from a first sensor positioned to sense the presence of a person in the area, whether a person is present in the area; and, when a person is present in the area, determine a first drive signal based on the at least one characteristic and the presence of the person, and a second drive signal based on the presence of the person in the area and the first drive signal. The processor provides the first drive signal to drive to a HINS LED array and the second drive signal to drive a non-HINS LED array.

Antimicrobial backlit devices and methods are provided. In one example embodiment, a device includes a backlight system configured to provide backlight for a display screen of the device. The backlight system includes one or more HINS light sources configured to emit HINS light and one or more non-HINS light sources configured to emit non-HINS light. The device further includes one or more control devices configured to control operation of the one or more HINS light sources and the one or more non-HINS light sources according to one or more light control profiles.

An illuminated vanity mirror includes a housing and a front mirror panel connected to the housing. A frame is connected to the housing and positioned behind the front mirror panel. A light emitter is connected to frame. The light emitter includes a plurality of LEDs facing away from the front mirror panel. The LEDs are positioned to direct emitted light toward the housing and the emitted light is redirected through the front mirror panel.

A wall mounted light fixture includes a surface mount including a rear wall having a plurality of mounting openings, a top wall extending from the rear wall, and a bottom wall extending from the rear wall. The light fixture housing is connected to the surface mount and defines an interior portion. A light emitter is positioned in the interior portion of the housing. A lens is connected to the housing. A sensor assembly including a sensor housing and a sensor module is positioned at least partially in the sensor housing. The sensor assembly is operatively connected to the light emitter and the sensor housing is external to the light fixture housing.

A wall wash light fixture includes a housing having an upper wall, a first side wall, and a second side wall at least partially defining an interior. The first side wall and the second side wall each include a first mounting feature having a projection extending into the interior. A mounting bracket is positioned in the interior and releasably connected to the housing. A light emitter is connected to the mounting bracket. A lens has a base, a first arm extending from the base, and a second arm extending from the base. The first and second arms each include a second mounting feature configured to mate with the first mounting feature to releasably connect the lens to the housing.
