Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an apparatus and method for managing an orientation of a tab of a control surface of an aircraft comprising an elongate structure having a number of members configured to position the elongate structure to a control surface, a bracket located on the elongate structure, a plurality of indicators located along the elongate structure, and a data processor in communication with the plurality of indicators. The bracket may be positioned against an edge of a tab of the control surface. Each of the plurality of indicators may be configured to generate a number of measurements about an orientation of the tab on the control surface. The data processor may be configured to present information about the orientation of the tab on the control surface.

A medical procedure drape, for use during a diagnostic and therapeutic procedures performed on a patient supported by a patient cart, including a cover and a holder for the endoscope. The cover superimposes a portion of the patient and a portion of the patient cart. The endoscope holder is fixed to a boundary of the cover and extends above the level of the patient support surface on the patient cart. The endoscope holder retains and supports the endoscope during insertion and at other such times that the endoscopist may wish to set the endoscope aside to perform other tasks.

Medical procedure drape

The present invention provides a medical support pillow and method for supporting a patient in the lateral position while maintaining an open airway. The lateral airway support pillow includes a chest support, a shoulder recess, a head support and a posterior bolster. The orientation of these components support the patient in the lateral position, with the spine and airway in a straight position, thus eliminating possible airway obstruction. One embodiment of the invention contains a head support with a posterior recess and a neck support which provides for straightening of the neck and airway and aligning the oral, pharyngeal, and laryngeal axes of the airway. Other embodiments position and elevate the patient in such a manner to treat or prevent soft tissue pressure injury, gastroesophageal reflux, congestive heart failure, or sleep apnea.

A medical procedure drape for use during a medical procedure such as a colonoscopy. The medical procedure drape includes a cover and a barrier.

A workpiece to which traction to be applied is firmly held by a gripping device to which is anchored one end of an impacting hammer having a rectilinear guide with a free end directed away from the workpiece. An impact member of high inertia is slidably disposed on the guide for rapid movement toward an impacting engagement with an abutment carried by the guide adjacent its free end, whereby the resulting tensional forces in the form of a sudden impulse are transmitted through the gripping device to the workpiece for use, for example, in withdrawing the workpiece from a member in which it is firmly anchored or embedded. The gripping arrangement of at least one jaw of the gripping device utilizes a single tooth which is harder than the workpiece to be extracted so that such tooth effectively bites into such workpiece to provide a firmer grip. In another embodiment, each jaw may include a tooth each biting into the workpiece in alignment with each other or in staggered alignment. The impacting hammer is designed to provide maximum force during extraction, to reduce operator fatigue, and to be removable so that the gripping device may be used alone or in combination with one or more other tools.
