A powder actuated fastening tool including a charge advance apparatus for advancing a powder charge strip relative to a barrel of the tool, wherein the charge advance apparatus includes a rotatable ratchet having teeth for engaging receptacles formed in the powder charge strip, and a charge advance member coupled to a trigger of the tool, wherein the charge advance member acts on the rotatable ratchet to rotate the ratchet in response to actuation and/or release of the trigger, such that the rotation of the ratchet causes advance of the powder charge strip relative to the barrel.

An edge protection system for use with concrete flooring, including a first part for coupling to an edge portion of a first concrete flooring panel and a second part for coupling to an opposed edge portion of a second, neighbouring, concrete flooring panel, and a support foot for supporting the system relative to a ground surface, wherein the first part has a pair of vertically opposed longitudinal rails, and the support foot has an engagement formation which has an unlocked orientation for inserting the formation between the opposed rails to abut against the first part and a rotated, locked orientation wherein the formation is locked by the rails against lateral withdrawal from the first part.

A coupler for mounting to externally threaded reinforcing bar for use in concrete construction, the comprising a body having a portion with an internal thread for engagement with the thread of the reinforcing bar, wherein the thread form at the inner end portion of the internal thread includes on one of its flanks an enlargement of progressively increasing extension, the enlargement extending towards an opposing flank of the thread to provide an increasing friction fit with the thread of the bar. Various embodiments provide the enlargement being only on a part of the face of the flank whereby the remainder of the face of the flank forms, in conjunction with the adjacent flank of the bar thread during tightening, a void for receiving material displaced during tightening.

Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a cartridge for dispensing two-part fluids. In one embodiment, the cartridge comprises a cartridge body having a dispensing end and defining a first fluid reservoir and a second fluid reservoir. The dispensing end defines at least one aperture fluidly connected to the first fluid reservoir. The dispensing end also defines a dispensing conduit fluidly connected to the second fluid reservoir. The cartridge further comprises a nozzle member engageable with the cartridge body to form an outlet and to fluidly connect the at least one aperture to the outlet.

Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a masonry member comprising an anchor member and a sleeve. The anchor member has a shank with a ridge formed thereon, the ridge extending radially outwardly from and along a surface of the shank generally from a distal end of the anchor member toward a head of the anchor member. The sleeve defines a groove. The sleeve is coaxial with and at least partially surrounds the anchor member such that the ridge of the shank is at least partially received in the groove. A cross-sectional width of at least one of the ridge and the groove reduces in a direction extending toward the head of the anchor member so withdrawal of the anchor member through the sleeve expands at least part of the sleeve radially outwardly.
