A vessel includes first and second portions that are non-permeable to a fluid and a third portion that is permeable to fluid. The first potion defines at least one exterior wall defining an exterior container. The second portion defines at least one interior wall defining an interior container encapsulated by the exterior container. The third portion is positioned between the at least one exterior wall and the at least one interior wall, is integrally formed with the first portion and the second portion, and has a porous structure with non-uniform connected porosity.

A pressure vessel includes a first container and a second container surrounding the first container and including a fluid port. The pressure vessel further includes a barrier space extending between the first container and the second container and a leak detection mechanism connected to the fluid port on the second container that is configured to detect a leak in the pressure vessel.

Each of the plurality of fins extends from a surface of the first parting sheet to a surface of the second parting sheet, and longitudinally between the first upstream end and the first downstream end. The plurality of fins are further laterally arranged to define a plurality of first fluid passages. Each of a subset of the plurality of fins includes an internal slot positioned away from the first upstream end and the first downstream end.

A method of metering fuel with a fuel valve. The method includes arranging a spool within to a sleeve along an axis, wherein the spool includes four seal lands. The sleeve includes a fuel inlet aperture, a fuel outlet aperture, and a shutoff port. A first cavity and a second cavity are defined between the spool, the sleeve, and subsets of the seal lands. The fuel inlet port and the fuel outlet port abut one such cavity. Sliding the spool along the axis results in the fuel outlet aperture extending longitudinally beyond the second seal land in the upstream direction.
