A folding child frame carrier for carrying a child on a person's back, comprising: a collapsible front frame portion, the front frame portion having a longitudinal axis and a transverse axis, the front frame portion being symmetrical about the longitudinal axis and having a left side and a right side, and the front frame portion being collapsible about the longitudinal axis and the transverse axis from an extended position to a contracted position, the front frame portion having an upper portion, a lower portion, and a forward-extending portion, the forward-extending portion being pivotally connected to the upper portion at a first pivot point, and the upper portion being pivotally connected to the lower portion at a second pivot point; a flexible child holder attached to the front frame portion between the upper portion and the forward-extending portion; a rear frame portion also symmetrical about the longitudinal axis and having a forward end pivoting on the front frame portion at a third pivot point and a rearward end, and movable between a stand position in which the rearward end is substantially separated from the front frame portion's lower portion and a carrier position in which the rearward end is adjacent the front frame portion's lower portion; and a locking means for holding the front frame portion in the extended position.

Folding frame child carrier

A folding child stroller and frame carrier convertible by using only one hand between use as a ground-contacting four-wheel stroller and use as a frame carrier for carrying a child on a person's back, consists of a front frame portion having a front end supporting at least two front wheels, a rear frame portion having a rear end supporting at least two rear wheels, a flexible child holder attached to the front frame portion, the rear frame portion pivotally connected to the front frame portion at a pivot point and movable between an extended position in which the rear end is substantially separated from the front end and a contracted position in which the rear end is adjacent the front end, a handle portion connected to the front frame portion and pivotable downwardly and forwardly using only one hand from an extended position in which the handle portion is substantially in-line with the front frame portion and a folded position in which the handle portion is adjacent to the rear frame portion, and an actuating strut exerting a force on the rear frame portion at a point intermediate the rear end and the pivot point to move the rear end toward the front end as the handle portion is pivoted downwardly and forwardly, and the actuating strut attached to the handle portion at a fixed distance from the front frame portion and pivoting on the handle portion.

A collapsible infant stroller that has an elevated contractible lower frame portion having a rear end, an intermediate portion and a front end. A contractible upper frame portion is provided with a lower end pivotally attached to the lower frame portion and extending downwardly therefrom and supporting two front wheel assemblies, an intermediate seat portion supporting a flexible infant seat and an upper handle end. A stabilizer strut is connected to the lower frame portion and the upper frame portion to secure the frame portions together for safe and smooth carrying of an infant. A rear strut pivotally connects the upper frame portion and the lower frame portion and extends downwardly from the lower frame portion for supporting rear wheel assemblies. A releasable locking catch secures the stroller in its upright erect position for use, and when released, permits contraction of the upper and lower frame portions inwardly upon themselves as to move the stroller to a collapsed condition for transportation and storage.

Multi-purpose collapsible infant stroller

A collapsible jogging infant stroller that has a contractible lower frame portion having a rear end supporting two wheels, an intermediate portion and a front fork end supporting a front wheel. A contractible upper frame portion has a lower end pivotally attached to the lower frame portion and an upwardly and rearwardly extending intermediate seat portion supporting a flexible infant seat holder and an upper handle end. A stabilizer strut is connected to the lower frame portion and the upper frame portion to secure the frame portions together for safe and smooth carrying of an infant. A releasable locking means secures the stroller in its upright erect position for use, and when released, permits contraction of the upper and lower frame portions inwardly upon themselves as to move the stroller to a collapsed condition for transportation and storage.

There is provided a portable and collapsible seat for infants having a relatively compact closed condition for transportation and storage, and an open condition for use. The portable seat includes a collapsible frame having a pair of oppositely disposed longitudinal side rails, each with front and rear ends, a front support attached adjacent the respective front ends of the side rails, and a rear support attached adjacent the respective rear ends thereof. The supports extend downwardly and support the side rails in a rear-to-front inclined and parallel relationship when in open condition. The side rails are foldable outwardly between closed and open conditions. The seat further includes a flexible cradle selectively attached to the frame having a contoured recess for comfortably receiving and supporting the infant in use. The cradle further includes a head roll member situated adjacent and between respective rear ends of the side rails in use, and a leg roll member situated adjacent the respective front ends.
