A method to prevent the removal or deactivation of the calcium carbonate diluent from calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN) fertilizer by terrorists or insurgents attempting to produce home-made-explosives, such as ANFO. A first embodiment involving dry mixing an organic polymer and CAN fertilizer&#x2014;such that if the mixture is added to water a hydrogel will be formed defeat the separation of the calcium carbonate. A second embodiment involving adding encapsulated water or encapsulated urea, such that if the mixture is ground to a fine powder to defeat the effect of the diluent&#x2014;the released urea will take water out of the atmosphere or the released water (from the encapsulated water) will interact with the organic polymer to create a hydrogel, to maintain the non-detonability of the CAN.

A bearing assembly for a first part that rotates with respect to a second part may include a slewing bearing having an axis of rotation and inner and outer races concentric with the axis of rotation. The inner race may be fixed to the first part and the outer race may be fixed to the second part. An inner, annular catch ring may be fixed to and adjacent to a lower surface of the inner race. An outer, annular catch ring may be fixed to and interposed between a lower surface of the outer race and the second part. A portion of the outer catch ring may be disposed below and adjacent to the lower surface of the inner race.

A gunner protection apparatus for a tactical or armored vehicle having a turret or hatch opening that exposes crewmembers to enemy threats. The gunner protection apparatus includes a turret portion attached to the vehicle's turret, the turret portion comprising a substantially circular base plate fixed to the vehicle's turret; a plurality of vertical supports fixed to the base plate; a plurality of clamps connected to the plurality of vertical supports, respectively; and a plurality of curved glass panels having ends fixed between the clamps and the vertical supports; a gun support disposed in a bearing sleeve hole and rotatable about a vertical axis of the bearing sleeve hole; and a front shield fixed to the gun support, the front shield having a gun opening and at least one window, the front shield being rotatable with the gun support.

This controlled amount of formula allows the user to monitor and regulate the consumption of liquid by an infant between required burpings.
