The present disclosure relates to LED lighting that can be used for retrofit applications. In some examples, an LED light source is attached to a heat sink assembly. A housing assembly includes an LED driver connected to the LED light source. A mounting bracket is attached to an anterior of the heat sink assembly and to an anterior plate of the housing assembly.

Modular LED retrofit lamp system

The modular LED retrofit lamp system includes a high-power LED light engine, together with an integrated optics mount, an integrated yet serviceable LED dimmable driver, and a point of attachment on the center area of the engine for mounting the LED engine. Different mounts for the engine can include, but are not limited to, PAR56, PAR46, PAR64, PAR38, Mini Candelabra, Intermediate Screw Base, Mogul Screwbase, and Fresnel-based Theatrical Fixtures. One LED light engine can replace a wide range of tungsten lamps ranging up to 500 watt equivalents in output performance, as well as dimming performance. Additional brackets and lamp sockets easily retrofit into an existing lighting fixture, while dimming capabilities are retained.

A canvas holding assembly for holding large and small canvases includes a base that is tripoidal. A first plate is coupled to and extends from the base. The first plate is substantially parallel to a surface upon which the base is positioned and is configured to position items of a user. A first bar is selectively extendable from a top of the base. A second bar is coupled to and extends from the first bar distal from the base. A first coupler is pivotally coupled to the second bar distal from the first bar. The first coupler is positioned above the first plate. Each of a plurality of holders is configured to couple to a canvas. Each holder comprises a second coupler that is complementary to, and positioned to couple to, the first coupler, such that the holder is configured to couple to the canvas.

Disclosed herein is a golf ball comprising fast-chemical-reaction-produced component, such as a component which comprises a reaction injection molded polyurethane material. A process of making a golf ball by forming at least one core and/or cover component of the ball by mixing two or more reactants that react and form a reaction product with a flex modulus of 5-310 kpsi in a reaction time of about 5 minutes or less, the component having a thickness of at least 0.01 inches and a demold time of 10 minutes or less is disclosed. In one preferred form of the invention, excess polyurethane from forming golf ball covers is recycled by using it to form golf ball cores.

Golf ball which includes fast-chemical-reaction-produced component and method of making same

Disclosed herein is a game ball and method for making the same. The game ball has an ionomeric cover which includes a combination of ionomeric crosslinks and covalent crosslinks. The game ball cover is superior in at least one of cut resistance and scuff resistance to a conventional cover that does not have covalent crosslinks but is otherwise substantially identical in composition. The game ball cover of the invention is particularly useful for improving the durability of golf balls to be struck with sharp-grooved clubs.

Method of improving scuff and cut resistance of ionomer covered game ball

A game ball having a high end synthetic leather cover formed from a non-woven fiber mat impregnated with polyurethane. In one embodiment, the game ball is a football and the fibers in the backing of the cover material have a denier of about 0.1 or less. In another embodiment, the game ball cover has a dual layer coating to impart to the cover good pebble retention. The first layer has a Shore A hardness of at least about 65, and the second layer surrounding the first layer has a Shore A hardness lower than the hardness of the first layer. The game ball, which can be formed to meet association specifications, has properties of softness and durability comparable to those of a genuine full grain leather game ball.

Disclosed herein is a multi-layer golf ball having a soft outer cover. The golf ball has an inner cover layer with a Shore D hardness of 60 or more, and an outer cover with a Shore D hardness of 53 or less. In a particularly preferred form of the invention, the outer cover comprises at least 75% of a soft, ionomeric copolymer formed from a polyolefin, an unsaturated carboxylic acid, and a monomer of the acrylate ester class. The golf ball of the invention has exceptionally soft feel and high spin rates on short shots of 80 yards or less and, particularly, 40 yards or less, while maintaining good distance and average spin on full shots.

Disclosed herein is a game ball and method for making the same. The game ball has an ionomeric cover which includes a combination of ionomeric crosslinks and covalent crosslinks. The game ball cover is superior in at least one of cut resistance and scuff resistance to a conventional cover that does not have covalent crosslinks but is otherwise substantially identical in composition. Crosslinks within the composition are achieved by irradiation. The game ball cover of the invention is particularly useful for improving the durability of golf balls to be struck with sharp-grooved clubs.

A ball bat comprising a bat frame in a generally cylindrical configuration. The bat has an essentially cylindrical hitting area and a handle area remote from the hitting area and with a tapering transition zone therebetween. The bat frame is fabricated of a composite material of fibers in a matrix binder. A cylindrical recess is formed in the hitting area and has an annular inner face and parallel end faces at the ends of the recess. An annular insert metal with an interior cylindrical surface is in contact with the inner face of the recess and with parallel end faces in contact with the end faces of the recess and a cylindrical exterior surface essentially flush with the portions of the bat frame on opposite sides of the recess.

The present invention relates to a ball bat with tailored flexibility with a cylindrical handle zone at a first end of the ball bat. The cylindrical handle zone has a knob disposed on a free end thereof. A generally cylindrical hitting zone is at a second end of the ball bat remote from the first end. An essentially frustoconical transition zone is between the handle zone and the hitting zone. The transition zone includes an inboard portion of a first length and an outboard portion of a second length together forming a flex control zone. The flex control zone modifies normal flex characteristics of the ball bat.
