A mobile cellular cooling apparatus includes frame having a distribution pipe for carrying and distributing water through the pipe and into a plurality of cells. Excess or unevaporated water is collected in trough and recirculated through the apparatus utilizing a reservoir and a pump. Air passes through the cells and achieves a cooling effect on the air temperature while removing contaminants and/or pollutants. One or more of the apparatuses may be included or installed within a poultry house or structure. One or more apparatuses may be included or installed along with other ventilation components to provide an improved ventilation for such structures or buildings.

A mixing fin assembly adapted to mix and guide materials in a rotatable mixing drum of a type used in a transit concrete mixing vehicle includes a spiral mixing fin designed to extend transversely into the drum constructed of a lightweight, moldable polymeric material which is flexible and resistant to abrasion, the mixing fin includes a plurality of conjoined sections that are fit together, preferably utilizing fin locking tabs and mating fin locking sockets. A preferred way of mounting the mixing fin into mixing drums uses a spiral fin mount rail track adapted to be fixed to the interior surface of the mixing drum. A locking tab locks the upper part of the rail track into the fin structure.

Concrete mixing drum fin structure

A concrete batch plant is disclosed including a frame and a transit mixer drum having an open end and a closed end. The drum is configured to be utilized both with the concrete batch plant and on a transit mixer truck. The drum may be pivotally coupled to the frame of the concrete batch plant for movement between a first position in which the open end is positioned to receive cement from a cement supply and to receive aggregate from an aggregate supply and a second position in which the open end is positioned to discharge the mixed cement and aggregate. Further, the drum may be a polymeric drum including an interior surface formed by a plurality of complementary molded helical polymeric sections joined along a helical seam.

A motor driven discharge chute control system for automatically controlling the lateral position of a concrete discharge chute associated with a transit mixer vehicle is disclosed including a reversing motor connected to an output gear normally engaged to rotate with the motor through a gear reducer. A rotating chute swing gear is driven by the output gear and rotates a connected pivot assembly that carries one end of a discharge chute. A manual override system is also provided.

An improved friction heater apparatus (10) comprises a thin walled metallic drum (25) sealed on both ends, having a centrally disposed axle (14) mounted therein, and a plurality of free floating friction elements (16) operatively associated with the axle (14), wherein the rotary motion of the axle will impart centrifugal force to the friction elements to radially displace the friction elements with respect to the axle, and into engagement with the wall of the metallic drum (25).
