A quick connect fitting for connecting any male threaded connector or raceway to an electrical box. The quick connect fitting includes a one-piece tubular body having a leading end for connection to a knockout and a trailing end for accepting any male threaded connector or raceway. A seat on the leading end of the tubular body includes a snap ring thereon for quick connection to the knockout of an electrical box. One or more locking tangs on the snap ring facilitate connection of the leading end of the fitting of the to the electrical box. One or more grounding tangs on the quick connect fitting enhance grounding of the fitting to the electrical box to establish continuity between the connector body and any male threaded pipe or conduit secured into the female threads on the trailing end of the fitting.

Quick connect fitting for connecting any male threaded connector or raceway to an electrical box

A slider bar for mounting one or more electrical boxes of non-standard stud spacing. The slider bar is adjustable to ease the positioning and installation of one or multiple boxes where they are needed in the stud cavity. The slider bar provides a stable mounting platform between the studs and eliminates the time-consuming need to modify the non-standard stud cavity. The slider bar includes pre-formed holes in one or more of the bars to facilitate easy attachment of electrical boxes. An interlocking tab stop prevents accidental disassembly. Bending guides on bracket ends assure proper positioning on studs. The slider bar may be used to mount one or more plastic boxes or metal boxes rated for non-metallic cable or metal clad cables.

Adjustable slider bar for mounting an electrical box

An adjustable hole cover including an underside with one or more channels extending radially from the center of the cover to the outer edge. A row of apertures extends from the upper side into each of the channels. Retaining clips in each of the channels allow for adjustment of the cover to fit a wide range of hole sizes. The retaining clips include a base leg for sliding engagement with a channel and a second leg substantially orthogonal to the base leg. The base leg may be secured into one of the cover apertures to secure the retaining clip to the cover. Orientation of the retaining clip within the channel may be reversed to fit the cover to holes of a wide range of sizes. A reference scale on the underside of the cover allows for precise sizing to fit the hole diameter.

Adjustable floor hole cover

A push-in electrical connector for connecting one or more electrical cables at a knockout of an electrical junction box or panel. The electrical connector includes a substantially tubular connector body with a sidewall, a flange, an inner body portion extending from the flange to an inner end, and an outer body portion extending from the flange to an outer end. The inner body portion includes two flexible gripper jaws and an inner seat. The outer body portion includes two compressible arms and an outer seat. The electrical connector body may include a dividing wall for maintaining separation between electrical cables. The gripper jaws and compressible arms enable secure attachment of one or more cables to an electrical panel or box.

Push-in electrical connector insertable from the inside or outside of a junction box

A one-piece electrical fitting for connecting an electrical cable to a junction box, the electrical fitting formed from a single, flat blank of metal into a cylindrical connector body. The connector body includes a leading end having an exit bore, a trailing end, a cap, an inner bore, and one or more combination tangs including grounding tangs, locking tangs, and flanges extending radially outward from the connector body. The exit bore in the cap is offset to one side with cable retaining tangs on the fitting configured to push toward the exit bore in order to ease insertion of cables and conductors through the fitting. The one-piece electrical fitting includes a connector body with a D-shaped cross-sectional profile and one or more auxiliary grounding tangs extending outward from the connector body to improve grounding of the fitting with respect to an electrical box.

One-piece electrical fitting for snap connection

A grounding bushing with a central opening for electrically grounding a conduit, electrical metal tubing (EMT), or a pipe. The grounding bushing includes a stationary bushing portion and a rotatable bushing portion having slotted ends held together by mounting fasteners. The slotted ends permit rotation of the rotatable bushing portion away from the stationary bushing portion. After attachment to a conduit or similar structure, one or more mounting fasteners can be loosened to allow installation of additional wires through the central opening and into the conduit, EMT, or pipe. An electrically insulated liner extending around the entire inner periphery of the bushing prevents chafing or abrasion of any electrical wires by the end of the conduit.

Electrical box

A flanged conduit support for running electrical cables between horizontal floors or vertical walls. The flanged conduit support includes a flange and a hub with a socket. A locking means on the flanged conduit support enables the locking together of two or more supports together in a spaced relationship. The locking means includes a male snap member with a tab and a tapered end and the female snap member includes a receiving slot. The flanged conduit support provides a means for rapidly securing a first end of conduit to a form and capping the opposite ends of the conduit to prevent the entry of concrete during the concrete pour. A removable flange portion may be removed after the concrete cures to provide one or more open pathways for running electrical cables through the horizontal floors or vertical walls.

A flanged conduit support for forming openings in a poured concrete structure. The flanged conduit support includes a flange and a hub with a socket. A ganging means on the flanged conduit support enables the joining and locking of two or more supports together in a spaced relationship. The ganging means includes a male snap member with a tab and a tapered end and the female snap member includes a receiving slot. The flanged conduit support provides a means for rapidly securing a first end of conduit to a form and capping the opposite ends of the conduit to prevent the entry of concrete during the concrete pour. A removable cap may be removed after the concrete cures to provide one or more open pathways for running electrical cables through the horizontal floors or vertical walls.

Vapor seal flange

A ninety degree electrical fitting for connecting electrical cable to an electrical box. The ninety degree electrical fitting includes a connector body with a leading end and a trailing end, a snap ring connected to the leading end, and a clip member connected to the trailing end. A leading flange and a box engagement flange on the leading end of the connector body define a means for retaining the snap ring on the connector body. A clip member connected to the connector body provides a means for securing an electrical cable to the trailing end of the fitting. Internal walls on the connector body define an internal passageway having a wide turn radius, to enable wiring leads from an electrical cable to pass easily through the internal passageway of the connector body. The ninety degree snap fit electrical fitting provides good electrical continuity between the outer sheath of an electrical cable, the electrical box, and the fitting.

Electrical fitting

A vapor barrier cover for installation to an electrical box in the rough-in phase of construction. The vapor barrier cover includes a flange with an opening having an inner periphery and a body extending from the inner periphery of the flange. The body includes walls extending to a front edge. A front wall extending from the front edge includes a front opening and a rearward extending wing. Installation of the vapor barrier cover enables inspection and testing for air-tightness around the periphery of the electrical box prior to the final phase of construction and without the need for a gasket.

A kit for recessed mounting of one or more electrical components within an electrical floor box. The kit includes a leveling ring for mounting an electrical component within the floor box, a funnel with a keystone opening therein, a trim ring with a recessed surface, a cover, and an optional divider for dividing the electrical floor box into high and low voltage compartments. A keystone opening on the funnel provides access to a low voltage holder. The low voltage holder includes a pocket to accommodate snap-in mounting of a low voltage component therein. The leveling ring enables leveling the electrical component with the floor surface. Fasteners secure the trim ring to the funnel and the leveling ring. Securing the cover to the recessed surface of the trim ring provides a recessed floor box assembly with the cover recessed below the floor surface.

A one-piece electrical fitting for connecting an electrical cable to a junction box, the electrical fitting formed from a single, flat blank of metal into a cylindrical connector body. The connector body includes a leading end having an exit bore, a trailing end, a cap, an inner bore, and one or more combination tangs including grounding tangs, locking tangs, and flanges extending radially outward from the connector body. According to one embodiment, the trailing end of the fitting includes a rolled edge, and the leading end includes a recessed lip for accommodating an insulating liner within the exit bore. The exit bore in the cap is offset to one side with cable retaining tangs on the fitting configured to push toward the exit bore in order to ease insertion of cables and conductors through the fitting. In a further embodiment, the fitting includes two combination tangs that are positioned 180 degrees apart radially on the fitting body to facilitate easier snap-in insertion into the knockout hole of an electrical box.
