A pneumatically driven powder feeder system which is partly disposed within a municipal sewer for the purpose of providing periodic dispersal of wastewater treatment powder. A pneumatic source apparatus is disposed outside the sewer and provides a pneumatic source regulated by a solenoid valve control system. A pneumatically driven powder feeder apparatus is disposed in the sewer and is connected to the pneumatic source by a feed line. In response to periodic delivery of the pneumatic source to the pneumatically driven powder feeder apparatus, the powder is delivered to the wastewater of the sewer.

Pneumatic powder feeder system for municipal sewer lift station

An automatic wheel cleaner apparatus providing cleaning of the inner side of a motor vehicle wheel having an inflated tire mounted thereto (a mounted wheel) prior to attachment of adhesively attached balancing weights. The apparatus includes: a main frame, a rollers set composed of driven and non-driven rollers rotatably connected to the main frame for receiving a mounted wheel, a rotation assembly horizontally translatable on the main frame for providing rotation of the mounted wheel, and a cleaner head vertically translatable on the main frame and having a cleaner stocking for cleaning the inner side of the wheel of the mounted wheel during rotation of the mounted wheel.

Wheel cleaner apparatus

A pneumatic tire assembly apparatus and method for performing tire soaping, tire mounting and tire inflating operations, all of which being integrated at a single station positioned at one location in the apparatus. A conveyance system transfers a wheel to a transfer pallet located at a marry station whereat a tire is married to the wheel by dropping thereonto from a chute. The transfer pallet is transferred to an integrated tire mounting and inflating station, whereupon the tire and the wheel are soaped. Next, the tire is adjusted into a predetermined position relative to the wheel by stuffers. Then, the tire is mounted to the wheel utilizing one of a number of preferred mounting and inflating heads which cause the tire beads to slip over the upper rim of the wheel. Once mounted, the tire is inflated utilizing the same mounting and inflating head. The completed pneumatic vehicle wheel may now be transferred to other stations for further processing. In the preferred embodiment, two wheels are processed simultaneously.

A mechanism for lifting wheels from a conveyor and positioning them in a wheel soaping mechanism. Also included is a device for rotating a lifted wheel through 360.degree. for presentation to a spray nozzle for soaping the wheel. The rotating mechanism is adapted to rotate each sequentially presented wheel in a direction opposite to that of the previously presented wheel.
