A multilayer protective film comprising a polyvinylidene fluoride/acrylate polymer layer and one or more thermoplastic polyurethane layers is provided. The multilayer protective film may possess beneficial and desirable properties useful in protecting surfaces, such as for example, high ultraviolet resistance, optical clarity, durability, and gloss.

A reciprocating fluid-energy device to be used in a flowing fluid, having a foil, an upstream support member, a downstream support member, and a frame, where the frame retains the device in place within the flowing fluid, the support members movably attach the foil to the frame, and the foil moves laterally back and forth across the direction of the flow of the fluid, with changes in direction of the movement of the foil occurring automatically and spontaneously without external intervention other than the force of the flowing fluid.

Reciprocating fluid energy device

An easily applied and replaced flexible container pouch applied to the penis end and including a restricted opening collar to grasp the penis shaft. The container pouch comprises a plurality of walls having a fluid absorbent layer between at least 2 walls, the inner wall (proximal to the penis) include apertures allowing the fluid emitted by the penis to be received into the absorbent layer(s). In one embodiment, the inner layer(s) comprise fluid barriers (e.g. fluid impermeable or a thick member providing a mechanical spacing) between the fluid-filled absorbent layer(s) and the penis. The resulting device provides comfort and protection from unnecessary fluid immersion and ease of use, application and replacement.

Sanitary device

A storage system comprising a plurality of shelf units movable together through a circuit attached to and moved by a flexible drive such as a chain or belt, while being guided and stabilized in orientation by a separate guide track which track followers, retained by each shelf unit, move to maintain a selected orientation of the shelves within a system support or enclosure. Each shelf unit is removable by the user from engagement of the drive and from the system enclosure permitting replacement of the shelves within the storage system without system disassembly.

Storage system and method

The present invention provides a sanitary device having a significant capacity (e.g. 30 c.c.) in an plastic pouch (or envelope) gently attached to the end of the male member by releasable pressure sensitive adhesive across an opening which receives the male member. The pressure sensitive adhesive provides close connection to the skin, provides a fluid closure around the male member, and permits closure with opposing adhesive surfaces of the sanitary device not used to surround the circumference of the inserted male member. A further feature provides flaps, tabs or margins at the sanitary device opening which are foldable over the adhesive to selectably cover some portion or all of the adhesive as may be desired by the wearer.

Sanitary device and method

A manually operated traffic barrier gate which may economically installed and maintained, and easily operated by a single individual during emergency or other critical situations. One embodiment comprises a permanently mounted barrier gate movable from a retracted, upright position to lowered position extended to bridge a preselected traffic path, wherein the gate is counterbalanced to stay in the upright position until deployed, and to be balanced to stay in the deployed state when extended. The barrier gate are operable by one person and includes locking devices to maintain their stored upright or deployed lowered position. A further embodiment of the present invention provides a dual mobile gate which may be towed singly or in a chain (dual gate one behind the other), in a retracted length to the desired location, and thereafter be disconnected from the towing vehicle and left at the site to be deployed in an extended manner or retracted and moved as needed.

Barrier gate

A railroad grade crossing assembly including a programmable controller. In a preferred embodiment, the crossing assembly includes at least one camera for the purpose of visually monitoring the crossing assembly and/or the area around the assembly. In another preferred embodiment, the crossing assembly includes a communication link for remotely monitoring and/or controlling the assembly.

Railroad grade crossing assembly

A retractable gate comprising a movable arm gate having multiple sections which nest or telescope into each other when parked (e.g. upright), and extends into a full length blocking position as it is deployed. The gate arm sections are deployed by the movement of one of the arms, e.g. the outer one section, relative to the ground or a stationary support member and is joined to the stationary support member by a pivot point or bearing, and is connected to the stationary support or ground by a cable connection (or equivalent) which powers the arm sections into extended or retracted positions by movement of the gate about the pivot bearing. A novel corresponding counterweight system provides selectable balance and torque requirements.

Retractable gate

An articulate railroad grade crossing assembly. In a preferred embodiment, the crossing assembly has an adjustable reach so that it can be adjusted to completely or partially close roadways of various sizes. In another preferred embodiment, the assembly includes one or more sensors for detecting the presence of people and/or objects in the crossing area so that the assembly can automatically respond to such presence.

An overswing alerting mechanism/swing monitoring device that a user can wear, for example on the wrist, hand or arm, that can determine swing formation, and that can display and/or store the determined swing information. As an option, the device includes a visual and/or audible indicator for alerting the user to an improper swinging motion.

Swing monitoring device

An apparatus and method for cleaning fecal matter from the interior of an extracted animal intestine is disclosed. The apparatus has a horizontal tube member for supporting an intestine; support members attached to opposite sides of the tube member for supporting the side portions of a slit intestine; a transporter mounted below and adjacent to the bottom side of the tube for moving intestines from adjacent the distal end of the tube towards the proximal end; a cutting blade mounted above the tube member; and a plurality of nozzles arranged at transversely opposite sides of the tube member for directing fluid downwardly and about the top side of the pipe member. A method for cleaning animal intestines using such an apparatus is also disclosed.

Method and apparatus for cleaning animal intestines

A railroad grade crossing assembly for blocking vehicle access across a railroad crossing including a gate assembly connectable to a stanchion and light assembly. This gate assembly is movable between a generally upright position to permit vehicle access across a railroad crossing and a generally horizontal position for blocking vehicle access across the railroad crossing. The gate assembly further includes a telescopic arm assembly for completely closing vehicle access to the railroad crossing. In another embodiment of the invention, the railroad grade crossing assembly includes a gate movable between a generally horizontal retracted position to permit vehicle access across a railroad crossing and a generally extended horizontal position for blocking vehicle access across a railroad crossing, the gate includes a telescopic arm for completely closing the railroad crossing, a first and second stanchions. The railroad grade crossing assembly also includes a battery to power the gate and a solar panel to recharge the battery. A low battery indicator may also be includes to indicate that said battery has a low voltage. A listening device is provided to detect the sound of an oncoming train and activate the gate, and a sensor is provided to sense when a train has passed and thereby cause the gate to retract.

A clamp to be placed against payload objects carried in a truck or other vehicle including a corrugated bed liner comprising one or more pairs of movable opposing jaws, each pair selectively engaging a portion of the truck bed liner. The clamp jaws are slidebly retained in grooves in a clamp frame, and moved by spirally disposed grooves in a disk rotated by a connected operator lever. Further improvements include anchoring apertures to further secure the object(s) with rope or strapping, and latching apparatus to maintain the clamp in a closed or &ldquo;engaged&rdquo; position relative to the bed liner.

A golf overswing alerting mechanism is provided which produces a visual and/or audible indicator for the purpose of alerting a golfer to an improper swinging movement of a golf club. The overswing alerting mechanism is housed entirely within the hollow opening of the golf club shaft or is accommodated in a housing that is detachably affixed to the golf club. In a preferred configuration, the alerting mechanism includes a sound generation assembly for generating an audible sound upon occurrence of the overswing condition; an energy generation member to provide electrical energy to the sound generation assembly, and a circuit closing member or accelerometer(s) detecting the occurrence of an overswing condition. The preferred mechanism further includes an LCD readout provided in the grip butt of the golf club grip which indicates to the golfer the speed of the golf club shaft.

An apparatus and method for cleaning fecal matter from the interior of an extracted animal intestine is disclosed. The apparatus has a horizontal tube member for supporting an intestine; support members attached to opposite sides of said tube member for supporting the side portions of a slit intestine; a transporter mounted below and adjacent to the bottom side of said tube for moving intestines from adjacent the distal end of said tube towards the proximal end; a cutting blade mounted above said tube member; and a plurality of nozzles arranged at transversely opposite sides of said tube member for directing fluid downwardly and about the top side of said pipe member. A method for cleaning animal intestines using such an apparatus is also disclosed.
