A stator for an electric machine of a motor vehicle includes a laminated core having an inner side with winding grooves and an outer side. Windings, which are arranged in the winding grooves, form winding heads on axially opposing front faces of the laminated core. A cooling jacket conducts cooling fluid and has a first metal sheet which forms an inner wall of the cooling jacket facing the laminated core, and a second metal sheet which forms an outer wall of the cooling jacket surrounding the inner wall. An axial height of the cooling jacket exceeds an axial height of the laminated core. The cooling jacket has a laminated-core cooling jacket region for encasing the laminated core and two axially opposing winding-head cooling jacket regions adjoining the laminated-core cooling jacket region for encasing the winding heads.

A membrane humidifier has multiple stacking units mounted one on top of the other, where an individual stacking unit includes a flow plate and diffusion unit, where a circumference of the diffusion unit is formed by two oppositely situated first edge sides and two oppositely situated second edge sides. The diffusion unit includes: a top layer on a top side of the diffusion unit, a bottom layer on a bottom side of the diffusion unit, a moisture-permeable membrane, two oppositely situated upper receiving elements at the two first edge sides, on the top side of the diffusion unit, and two oppositely situated lower receiving elements at the two second edge sides, on the bottom side of the diffusion unit, where the flow plate of the stacking unit is inserted into the two lower receiving elements, and where the next stacking unit is inserted into the two upper receiving elements.

A method is provided for producing an energy supply unit for a vehicle having a housing and a stack, realized as a fuel-cell stack, battery stack or capacitor stack, arranged in the housing. The method includes providing the housing, including first and second tie-rod plates and first and second pressure-plate arrangements, wherein each pressure-plate arrangement is fastened to each tie-rod plate, arranging the stack between the two tie-rod plates and between the two pressure-plate arrangements, applying a bracing force to the two pressure-plate arrangements for the purpose of bracing the stack, and fastening at least the first pressure-plate arrangement to both tie-rod plates while the bracing force is being maintained upon the two pressure-plate arrangements. At least one pressure-plate arrangement includes a tolerance compensation system including an end plate securely connected to the tie-rod plates, a contact-pressure plate arranged between the end plate and the stack, and a positioning arrangement.

Method for producing an energy supply unit

A cell cover for a prismatic cell, in particular a lithium-based cell, is provided. The cell cover includes a cover plate having a bottom side, a top side and at least one current-carrying cutout, at least one electrical terminal arranged at the top side, at least one current clip associated with the at least one electrical terminal, each current clip being connectable to the cover plate in a corresponding connecting region of the bottom side of the cover plate. A corresponding electrical conductor is arranged in each current-carrying cutout. The electrical terminals and respective current clip are contactable with their associated electrical conductor. The cover plate has in at least one of the connecting regions at least one connecting cutout spaced apart from the current-carrying cutout. A corresponding one of the current clips is connectable to the cover plate in a positively locking manner at the connecting cutout. The top side of the cover plate, at least in sections opposite the corresponding the bottom side connecting regions, has a substantially planar shape.

A housing is provided for accommodating a stack of fuel cells, batteries or capacitors, including a first half-shell and a second half-shell opposite the first half-shell, a first pressure plate arrangement and a second pressure plate arrangement opposite the first pressure plate arrangement, the stack being accommodated between the two half-shells and between the two pressure plate arrangements, each half-shell gripping each pressure plate arrangement on the outer face thereof.

Housing for accommodating a stack of fuel cells, batteries or capacitors

A composite electrode is provided having a collector, the collector is coated with an electrode composition containing an active electrode material, a binding agent, and a conductivity additive such as conductive carbon black. The electrode composition has a concentration gradient along the direction of the electrode thickness in respect of the active electrode material and the conductivity additive, with the concentration gradient of the active electrode material increasing toward the collector, and the concentration gradient of the conductivity additive and the binder decreasing toward the collector. Two different methods of producing the composite electrode are also provided. A lithium-ion battery is further provided which includes a composite electrode having a collector, the collector is coated with an electrode composition containing an active electrode material, a binding agent, and a conductivity additive.

The invention relates to a device for producing an electrically conductive connection between two battery modules of an electrically drivable motor vehicle, comprising at least one clamping unit, which is composed of metal and can be clamped to a connection pole of a battery cell of a battery module or can be clamped to a cell connector that is arranged on the connection pole and that connects the connection pole in an electrically conductive manner to a connection pole of a further battery cell of the battery module.

Solid oxide fuel cells with a metal bearing structure, having passage orifices for a gas and intended for a cathode-electrolyte-anode unit. A bipolar plate is provided on the other side of the bearing structure, or the like. The bearing structure is made of a metal, which forms a protective oxide layer, which is electrically insulating, and operates as an electric resistance heating element for adjusting the fuel cell temperature. An electric current may be guided through the bearing structure between its protective oxide layers.

The invention relates to a fuel cell stack which is composed of several individual fuel cells that are stacked on top of each other. Each of said fuel cells comprises a cathode-electrolyte-anode unit () and a perforated film () which distributes a combustible gas across the first electrode surface thereof, supports the cathode-electrolyte-anode unit (), and is combined into a cassette () that is provided with a hollow space along with an additional structure (). The combustible gas reaches the first electrode (A) via said cassette (). The side of each cassette (), which is located opposite the cathode-electrolyte-anode unit (), is provide with a structure for distributing atmospheric oxygen across the surface of the second electrode of a neighboring cassette such that the stack is formed by several superimposed cassettes (), between the film () of which a cathode-electrolyte-anode unit () and the structure for distributing atmospheric oxygen across the surface of the second electrode are disposed along with the additional structure (). In order to brace the individual cassettes against each other in a housing or similar, the inventive stack comprises at least one bracing cassette, the walls of which are impermeable and which is filled with a material that expands to a relatively great extent when being heated.

Fuel cell stack

A fuel cell includes a cathode-electrolyte-anode unit, and a perforated foil structure distributes fuel gas over an electrode surface thereof. Longitudinal axes of at least some of the holes forming perforations in the foil are inclined differently relative to the foil surface such that, near a fuel gas feed, the outlet openings of the holes facing the electrode are oriented at least slightly toward the area of the fuel gas outlet from the fuel cell. Near a fuel gas outlet, the inlet openings of the holes facing the electrode are oriented at least slightly to the area of the fuel gas feed. However, holes whose inlet openings facing away from the electrode are oriented toward the fuel gas feed, and holes whose outlet openings facing away from the electrode are oriented toward the fuel gas outlet, may also be arranged alternately side-by-side.
