In this wireless remote control system, control signals and reporting-back signals are bidirectionally transmited between at least one portable transmitter-receiver unit, a stationary transmitter-receiver unit and a control. The portable transmitter-receiver unit contains a microprocessor and is carried, for example, by hand or in a clothing pocket. Control commands are input, depending upon their frequency of occurrence, by way of a ten-key keyboard, fixed keys or stored in a storage and transmitted as control signals via an operating mode selector switch selectively in either one of the operating modes 'manually by push-button' or 'automatically, permanently'. The signalling is non-public and on an indicator. The stationary transmitter-receiver unit with microprocessor is mounted stationarily in the transmission range of the associated portable transmitter-receiver unit and communicates the received control commands to the control. This remote control permits location-independent input of public and non-public operating requests into elevator installations and thereby a conveniently and secure call issue to protected storys. The method and the equipment can likewise be used for operating doors, escalators, turnstile and so forth and thus are generally suitable for controlling access and facilitating personnel traffic in buildings.

Method and equipment for the secure and convenient input of control

A system for remote management includes central management, planning and rationalization of the upkeep of elevator installations. The system comprises a modularly constructed remote management system, which makes possible the management centrally, the inspection regionally and the monitoring of decentralized processes locally of elevator installations. The management exchange is connected by modem and telephone network with the regional exchanges and has access to all relevant data. The regional exchange permits an inspection of all processes of several buildings. Direct speech connections with all the peripheral devices are by means or remote alarms from the regional exchange. For each building, a communications module manages the data traffic between the regional exchange and the processes to be inspected in the building. The process data is detected by a peripheral module, which is capable of diagnosis, and is processed further into relevant operational, fault and alarm reports with the aid of heuristic operating means. The peripheral module reports diagnostic data by way of the common building bus to the communications module, which transmits the data to the regional exchange by means of automatic telephone dialing.

With this set or reference value transmitter which is controlled by a set or reference value clock pulse generator or transmitter regulation of the running-up or acceleration of electric motors, such as asynchronous motors, can be kept under control also in the upper rotational speed ranges of the motor by adapting the displacement path-reference value characteristic curve to the displacement path-actual value characteristic curve. For this purpose the reference value transmitter comprises a correction member, by means of which the displacement path-regulation deviation is supervised in such a way that if the greatest displacement path-regulation deviation associated with the maximum power of the adjusting or positioning members is exceeded, the clock pulse frequency of the reference value clock pulse transmitter is reduced proportionally to the excess. The displacement path-reference values are supplied to the displacement path regulation circuit in correspondingly larger time intervals until the greatest displacement path-regulation deviation is fallen short of, whereupon the reference value transmitter continues to operate with the original clock pulse frequency.

The multiprocessor system enables rapid comparison of results determined from input data at the individual microprocessors. During a first phase of the comparison the results which are to be compared are transferred from the individual microprocessors to counters in connection logic components each of which is associated with an individual microprocessor. During a second comparison phase which is started by activating a comparison line to which all the connection logic components are connected via a bus driver, the counters are simultaneously started to count for periods of time each of which corresponds to the result which has been transferred to the respective counter. The comparison line is deactivated by the counter with which the longest counting period is associated. For the purpose of determining the deactivated state, the comparison line is connected to respective inputs of the connection logic components. An interrupt request is produced at that one of the microprocessors which is associated with the counter having the longest counting period. The multiprocessor system can be used, for example, to control the optimum operation of an elevator system.
