An adjustment unit for the mechanical adjustment of the beam level of at least one light unit of a headlight for a vehicle, having at least one shaft and a securing component, wherein the shaft is rotatable arranged at a housing of the headlight, wherein the shaft comprises or is coupled with a screw member, by means of which a rotary motion of the shaft can be caused in a shaft axis of the shaft in order to adjust the beam level of the at least one light unit, and wherein the securing component is provided, which prevents the screw member from an unwanted screwing. According to the invention, the securing component is configured to interact with the screw member, when the securing component is in a mounted state in which it is directly or indirectly attached to the housing.

Adjustment unit for the beam level of a light unit in a headlight

A supplementary light module for a headlamp of a vehicle, and in particular a cornering light module, a turning light module, or a fog light module. Such module can be accommodated in a housing of the headlamp, comprising a lamp and a reflector. The light generated by the lamp can be emitted in a propagation direction. A base body is provided, on which at least the lamp and the reflector are accommodated, and wherein the base body is securely accommodated in the headlamp housing by means of a pivot axle and by means of an adjustment unit for adjusting the supplementary light module about the pivot axle.

An articulated piece (4) for pivoting a pivotal reflector (2) of a vehicle headlight (1) about a first axis (7) and about a second axis (8) running perpendicular to the first axis, has, at an end facing the reflector, a joint shell (13) that can be connected to a translational-movable spherical head of an adjusting device for causing pivoting movement about the first axis, a snap-on part (11) at an opposite end that can be connected to the reflector, with the articulated piece being structured to be flexible in a plane running crosswise to the second axis.
