A planar array antenna for radar sensors includes: a plurality of base antenna elements situated in a common plane on a printed circuit board; and additional antenna elements, which are situated in an offset plane, in each case over one of the base antenna elements. Each additional antenna element is situated individually on an associated carrier, and the printed circuit board is equipped with the individual carriers.

An array antenna for radar sensors has a supply line, a plurality of antenna elements each connected to the supply line via a feed line, and circuit elements for distributing power to the antenna elements, in which the supply line is made reflective at one end and the circuit elements for power distribution are situated exclusively in the feed lines.

A radar sensor including an antenna array having multiple antenna elements situated next to one another and at least one feeding point at an outer antenna element. The antenna elements are connected in series via delay lines. The radar sensor has at least two transmitting and receiving units which are each suitable for generating and evaluating a radar signal at a predefined frequency. The at least two transmitting and receiving units are connected to a feeding point of the antenna array. The frequencies of the radar signals of the at least two transmitting and receiving units are predefinable independently of one another.

An antenna has an antenna body having a plurality of first antenna elements, which are disposed along a first straight line. A hollow conductor, which extends between the first antenna elements, is disposed in the antenna body. The first antenna elements are developed as openings running between the hollow conductor and a surface of the antenna body. The antenna is designed to radiate a signal in a spatial direction that is a function of a frequency of the signal. The antenna body has an electrically insulating material that is coated with a conductive material.

A radar sensor for motor vehicles, having a source of radar radiation and a lens, which is situated in front of the source, is made of a material that refracts radar radiation and has a convex surface on at least one side, wherein the convex surface has a greater curvature in elevation than in azimuth.

An antenna has an antenna body having a plurality of first antenna elements situated along a first straight line. The antenna body includes a first conductive grounded surface and a second conductive grounded surface, the first and second grounded surfaces being situated essentially parallel to one another.
