A tendon support system has a floatation assembly and a tethering assembly. The tendon support system is capable of installing multiple tendons to an offshore platform while minimizing the chances that the tendons will tangle or otherwise become entwined.

Offshore platform tendon support system

A system for supporting and/or tensioning a subsea tendon. The system includes a cylindrical vessel forming a chamber, there being an air control valve proximate the top end of the vessel and a water vent proximate the bottom end of the vessel. A source of high pressure air is operatively connected to the chamber whereby ballasting and deballasting of the vessel can be easily accomplished by remote operation of the air control valve. The system further includes a yoke having a clamp mounted thereon, the yoke being releasably connectable to the cylindrical vessel and operative to connect to hoisting lines such as chains.

Tendon support buoyancy system and method

A multi-tank/vessel buoyancy system for use in deploying and connecting tendons or other elongate members between subsea anchors and floating/semi-submersible platforms. The vessels are interconnected at axially spaced locations toward their upper ends and lower ends, there being an equalizing system proximate the top ends of the vessels to permit ingress and egress of air into the vessels and a lower water equalizing system to permit free-flowing ingress and egress of water into the vessels. There is at least one clamping system operatively connected to the multi-vessel system, the clamping system, like the valving systems, being remotely, acoustically operable from a PLC on a work barge or the like.

Ammunition containers incorporate an advanced sealing/latching arrangement as well as a lightning mitigation scheme that exhibits a number of advantageous features. A cover assembly is provided that separates the latching functionality from the sealing functionality such that the latching assembly is rotatably engaged and the cover seal is provided via radial (rather than axial) compression of an annular sealing component. In addition, a novel lightning mitigation system also functions as a convenient method of grasping and transporting the containers.

Ammunition container with improved latching and sealing arrangements

A three-speed transfer case for providing a direct drive connection between the input shaft and the output shafts, a low-range drive connection and an ultra low-range drive connection. The ability to choose between the distinct speed ratio drive connections permits the vehicle operator to best match the road conditions or off-road terrain to the tractive requirements of the motor vehicle.
