An infusion apparatus for delivering medication includes a housing, a drive mechanism, a force sensor, and a transfer element. The drive mechanism comprises first and second conveying elements, the second conveying element for advancing a plug in a reservoir in the distal direction, the first conveying element with limited axial movement relative to the housing but rotatable to cause an ejecting or resetting movement of the second conveying element. The force sensor is arranged along a central axis between the housing and the proximal end of the drive mechanism. The transfer element is axially arranged between the force sensor and the first conveying element and the force sensor bears axial forces exerted by the ejection movement. The second conveying element moves the transfer element away from the first conveying element against the bias of a restoring force such that the force sensor bears axial forces exerted by the resetting movement.

Device for administering a fluid product

An administering apparatus including a casing, a reservoir, a piston accommodated in the reservoir such that it can be shifted in an advancing direction, a piston rod which acts on the piston in the advancing direction and forms a first locking mechanism, a second locking mechanism which cannot be moved counter to the advancing direction, a lock element row formed by successively arranged first locking elements, extending in the advancing direction, and formed by one of the locking mechanisms, and a second lock element formed by the other locking mechanism and engaged with the lock element row, wherein it engages with a lock element gap of the lock element row, wherein the second lock element is moved out of engagement by a movement, against an elasticity force, of the piston rod in the advancing direction, but, when engaged, counteracts a movement of the piston rod counter to the advancing direction with a resistance force greater than the elasticity force to prevent the piston rod from moving counter to the advancing direction. In some embodiments, either or both the first and second locking mechanisms form a securing element at one or both ends with respect to the advancing direction, the securing element counteracting a movement of the piston rod counter to the advancing direction with a locking force greater than the resistance force.

A plug-on body which can be plugged onto a device for administering a settable dosage of an injectable product, the plug-on body including a first plug-on body section extending axially in the direction of a plug-on body axis for fixing the plug-on body to a dosing and activating means, a shifting stopper formed by the first plug-on body section and operating by positive lock for axially fixing the plug-on body with respect to at least one shifting direction, a rotational stopper formed by the first plug-on body section and operating by positive lock for fixing the plug-on body against rotating, a second plug-on body section extending behind the first plug-on body section in the direction of the plug-on body axis, wherein said second plug-on body section forms an optics system for reading a dosage scale on a dosing element of the device which serves to set the dosage.

Reading aid for a device for administering a settable dosage of an injectable product

A plug-on body which can be plugged onto a device for administering a settable dose of an injectable product, the plug-on body including a first body section extending axially in the direction of a plug-on body axis for fixing the plug-on body to a casing of the device, a shifting stopper formed by the first body section and operating by positive lock for axially fixing the plug-on body with respect to at least one shifting direction, a rotational stopper formed by the first body section and operating by positive lock for fixing the plug-on body against rotating, and a second body section extending behind the first body section in the direction of the plug-on body axis, wherein the second body section is formed by a shell body for at least one of shielding a dosing element of the device which serves to set the dosage and forming an adjustment stopper operating by positive lock for the dosing element.

Adjustment block for a device for administering a settable dosage of an injectable product

A device for administering an injectable product in doses including a casing, a reservoir for the product, a piston which displaces product towards a reservoir outlet and out of the reservoir when it slides in an advancing direction, a drive member which may be slid along a sliding axis, thereby pushing the piston in the advancing direction, and a dosing member which is mounted in the casing and may be slid, preferably rotatably, about the sliding axis of the drive member for setting a product dose, wherein a bearing surface between the dosing member and the casing is lubricated and at least one lubricating agent reservoir is provided on the bearing surface.

Device for administering an injectable product

The invention refers to a device for administering an injectable product in doses, comprising a casing, itself comprising: a reservoir for the product; a piston which forces product out of the reservoir when moved in a feed direction towards a reservoir outlet; a drive member; a driven member which is slaved by the drive member when the drive member is moved in the feed direction, so moving the piston in the feed direction; and a dosing member which may be rotated about the sliding axis of the drive member, to set the product dosage to be administered. The drive member and the dosing member abut each other via at least one dosage stopper each, one of which is provided on the drive member and the other on the dosing member. At least one of these dosage stoppers at least partially encircles the sliding axis of the drive member in the form of a spiral. The at least one spiral dosage stopper exhibits a continuous course with a constant pitch &agr;.

The invention concerns a device for administering an injectable product in doses, wherein the device includes a casing, comprising a reservoir for the product, a piston, which when moved in a feed direction towards an outlet of the reservoir forces product from the reservoir, a gear rack, moving the piston in the feed direction, comprising a first series of teeth and a second series of teeth, a drive member, movable relative to the casing in and counter to the feed direction, and slaving the gear rack when moved in the feed direction, and a blocking means, arranged secured against shifting relative to the casing and cooperating with one of the series of teeth such that it prevents the gear rack from being moved counter to the feed direction and allows the gear rack to be moved in the feed direction.

Device for administering an injectable product in doses

A resettable display of a device for metered administration of a fluid drug, comprising a housing, a fluid container containing the fluid and provided in or on said housing, an actuating device shiftably mounted by a length in or on said housing, which, upon actuation, shifts a piston in the fluid container in order to displace from the fluid container a fluid dose adjusted by the actuating device, a display provided in or on said housing displaying a measure for the adjusted fluid dose, and a resetting means shifted with the actuating device and thus resetting the display. The display comprises a minimum of one counter ring rotated from a zero position when adjusting the fluid dose by means of the actuating device in relation to the housing. The resetting means mechanically transfers the shift movement of the actuating device into a reverse rotary movement of the counter ring towards its zero position (FIG. ).
