A method and apparatus for controlling a micro power supply in a vehicle includes a processor on the micro power supply communicating with a processor on a microcontroller via a communication link. The communication includes a desired output voltage of the programmable micro power supply. In response to the communicated desired output voltage, the programmable micro power supply adjusts an output voltage of a power converter to be the desired output voltage.

Programmable standby voltage power supply

A vehicle display illumination system includes a controller controlling a constant current source. The constant current source receives a variable voltage input and outputs multiple constant current channels to one or more light sources for the vehicle display. The controller is further operable to alter a color or brightness of the light sources in response to a change in status of another vehicle system, thereby providing an indication to the user of the change in status.

A method and firmware motor control and fault operation system for positioning motors of a Heater-Ventilation-Air Conditioner Unit in response to request of chosen comfort levels in the interior of a motor vehicle. The positioning being accomplished by moving the shafts of the motors in a direction and for a period of time determined from mathematical computations. The system controls motor shaft movement of motors arranged to operate as hybrid closed and open loop motor control systems and all motor shaft movement performed with respect to purely time period measurements.

Predictive electric motor positioning device, normal operating system

A method and firmware motor calibration system for measuring average system voltage of operating electric motors and time of movement between physical stops of mechanical structures coupled to the output shafts of the electric motors. The system calibrates motors arranged to operate as hybrid closed and open loop motor control systems. Data concerning position of the shafts is determined for the closed loop motor control systems.
