A ventilation tube unit (), for connection to a medical ventilator, includes an outer tube () with a tubular connection device () with a jacket-side branch (), for connecting a medical unit such as a water trap, arranged between a first outer tube part () and a second outer tube part (). An inner line () is arranged within and extends with the outer tube () between two port connectors (). Each outer tube part () includes a variable-length outer tube part that can be varied between a compressed state and an expanded state. The connection device () is displaceable in the longitudinal direction (A) relative to the inner line () by a compression of one outer tube part () and a corresponding expansion of the other outer tube part (). A ventilation system with at least one such ventilation tube unit is also provided.

A double temperature sensor determines the body core temperature of a living being. The double temperature sensor includes a sensor block (), which on one side carries a first temperature sensor () provided for placing on the skin surface and on the other side carries a second temperature sensor () spaced from the first. An evaluating unit calculates the body core temperature using the measured values of the first and second temperature sensors. The sensor block () is held in a hood-shaped housing shell () which is shaped in such a manner that the first temperature sensor () on the sensor block and the peripheral outer edge () of the housing shell () spaced therefrom lie in one plane. When the housing shell () is lying on the skin surface, the sensor block () is surrounded by an air-filled cavity closed off by the housing shell.

Body core temperature sensor

A measuring device () has at least one sensor (), which can be applied to the skin surface () of a patient for detecting a measured value with the sensor (). The device () has two contact surfaces () on an underside (), which is intended for being in contact with the skin surface () of the patient. A current detecting (), detects a measuring current () resulting from a particular effective electric resistance between the contact surfaces (). A method for operating such a measuring device () and a system with such a measuring device () are also provided.

A double temperature sensor is provided for determining the body temperature. The sensor includes at least a first temperature sensor element for measuring a near-surface temperature of the ambient air and a second temperature sensor element for measuring a temperature of the skin surface. The first and the second temperature sensor elements are arranged in a sensor block. A holding element surrounds the sensor block at least partially. An adhesive element fixes the holding element on the skin surface. A spring element acts on the sensor block and provides a spring force directed in the direction of the skin surface.

Double temperature sensor

A medical electrode is provided for detecting and transmitting electric pulses from the body surface of a patient to an electric pulse processor. The medical electrode includes an outer carrier and at least one inner carrier (). The outer carrier and the inner carrier are connected at a defined number of geometrically distributed points (). The points () form an outer edge () of the inner carrier and are perforated, so that the outer carrier and the inner carrier can be separated at these points (). An adhesion area () is formed on the underside of the outer carrier () and of the inner carrier for adhering the medical electrode to the patient body surface. A contact element () is provided with a conductive area arranged concentrically to the contact element () for establishing contact with the body surface of the patient. The contact element () and the conductive area () are arranged within the inner carrier.

Medical electrode

A safety helmet () has a circumferential module ring (), made especially of a thermoplastic plastic. The module ring (), has a plurality of plug-in slots (), which are located at spaced locations from one another in the direction of the module ring (). This provides standardized simultaneous mounting possibilities for various functional accessories with plug elements complementary to the plug-in slots ().

A gas mask for normal pressure operation and overpressure operation allows changeover of the expiration valve () from normal pressure operation to overpressure operation is made possible in a simple manner. The pretension of the valve spring () of the expiration valve () is adjusted by an angle lever () pivotable about an axis of rotation ().
