A sealing profile between the body of a motor vehicle and a moveable window includes a receiving groove into which an edge side of the window, which side interacts with the sealing profile, enters during closure of the window, a profiled section forming the groove being subjected to deformation by the edge side until the sealing profile obtains it final shape. The profiled section has, on a side facing the window edge, a soft elastic sealing layer which is arranged on a harder supporting layer arranged behind it.

Sealing profile for a motor vehicle

A seal arrangement is used for a folding roof of a hardtop vehicle, which has a front roof part, a rear roof part and a frame. The rear roof part can be moved from a closed position into a storage position inside a rear luggage space. The frame has a rear window and is pivotable in relation to the lateral roof pillars. The seal arrangement includes a sealing strip at least partially disposed in a region adjacent to a front end of the rear window, and an additional seal extending under the rear window and from the region of the pivoting axis to a rear edge of the rear window. The sealing strip extends under the front roof part and the lateral roof pillars and into a region of a pivoting axis of the rear window. The sealing strip includes a main seal having a surface, a comfort seal, and a channel disposed between the main seal and comfort seal. The additional seal includes a main seal having a surface, a comfort seal, a channel disposed between the main seal and comfort seal of the additional seal, and an additional channel in the region of the pivoting axis, the additional channel being in alignment with the channel of the sealing strip and communicating with the channel between the main seal and the comfort seal of the additional seal. The two main seals adjoin one another in the region of the pivoting axis with the surfaces abutting each other.

Seal arrangement for a folding roof of a hardtop vehicle and method for making a seal arrangement

In a drainage arrangement for a folding hard-top vehicle roof that can be moved into a storage position in the vehicle luggage compartment with the aid of pivotable C pillars, the rear window is pivotable relative to the C pillars ( ). Associated with the bottom edge of the rear window is a seal which has a water-guiding channel formed therein. The channel opens in the area of the C pillars into a collecting trough ( ), which in turn is connected by a flexible hose ( ) to a moisture space of one of the vehicle side windows.

Drainage arrangement for a folding roof of a hard-top vehicle

A convertible is provided with a top structure that has at least one top part and a rear window part. The structure is stowable in an open position in the rear area of the vehicle beneath a rear lid and at least partially in a trunk. In the top structure, the rear lid is articulated laterally in each case by a multilink articulation device with a first forward pivoting device by at least one articulation point with an articulation lever. Two auxiliary frames are mounted on the body in the rear area of the vehicle behind the first pivot device at a pivot point. At least one of the two auxiliary frames is connectable with the vehicle body by a releasable locking member and a latching device. The rear lid is connected with a vehicle body in the rear area for a top stowage function by a second rear pivoting device and a releasable latching device. The rear lid, articulation lever, and auxiliary frame together form a four-link mechanism with their articulation and pivot points.

Convertible with a top structure having at least one top part and a rear

A lowerable rear window that can be convex or bent for a folding roof of a vehicle that has lateral C-pillars is provided for a passenger vehicle. The rear window is designed as a separate part and is locked in the closed state to the folding roof. The rear window has control levers on each side. The rear window is separated from the C-pillars and the folding roof by the rotary movement of the control levers and can be stowed behind a tank of the vehicle.

A wind protection arrangement for an open passenger car is disclosed which has flexible flat type structure which is arranged so it can be rolled up and unrolled between an inoperative position and a protective position on a roll-up device. The roll-up device extends in a transverse direction of the vehicle and is fixed to the vehicle. A swivellable mounting frame which is fixed to the motor vehicle supports a forward edge of the flat shaped structure. This mounting frame can be swivelled between a folded-over basic position and an erected operative position about a swivel axis extending in parallel to a bearing axis of the roll-up device.

Wind protection arrangement for an open motor vehicle

A folding roof arrangement for a motor vehicle is provided with a folding cover whose forward end is fastened to a transversely extending roof cap which can be locked by way of locking members on the motor vehicle body when the roof is closed. The folding roof arrangement is provided with lateral folding top frames with which the roof cap is displaceably connected. The locking members have closing members which are arranged on the roof cap and which are applied to tensioning elements arranged on the motor vehicle body. The locking members displace the roof cap in the x-direction toward the front relative to the folding top frames for end position locking.

A drive arrangement for a retractable folding roof, in particular for a folding top of cabriolets, is provided with a pivot drive for a front folding-roof part. The roof part is mounted on the body via lateral pillars. Two double-acting operating cylinders are each supported, by one of their ends, on the body and, by their other ends, in an articulated manner on the lever arm of that pillar of the front roof part which is assigned to them. A pivot drive for the rear roof part is also provided. In order to permit a compact drive arrangement which is favorable in terms of weight and cost, the operating cylinders serving for the pivot drive of the front roof part are also used for the relative pivoting of the rear roof part, for which purpose the operating cylinders are connected to the lever arm of the pillar assigned to them via a rotary-slide articulation which can be blocked for common pivot-movement phases of the front roof part and the rear roof part.
