A spectacle lens includes proceeding from a front face on the object side of the spectacle lens to an opposite reverse face of the spectacle lens, at least components A, B, and C. The component A includes an ultrathin lens, the component B includes at least one of a polymeric material or a mineral glass, and the component C includes at least one of a functional layer or an ultrathin lens. The spectacle lens has no damage after impact of a steel ball with a diameter of 15.87 mm and a weight of 16.36 g from a height of 1.27 m.

Spectacle lens comprising at least one ultrathin lens and process for production thereof

A spectacle lens, which is manufactured by additive manufacturing, includes interspersing first volume elements and second volume elements. The first and second volume elements are arranged on the grid points of a geometric grid to form a first sub-grid and a second sub-grid, respectively. The first sub-grid forms the first part of the spectacle lens having a dioptric effect for vision for a first object distance and the second sub-grid forms the second part of the spectacle lens having a dioptric effect for vision for a second object distance, which differs from the first object distance.

Spectacle lens and method for producing same

A process, in particular a 3D printing process, for producing a spectacle lens is disclosed. The process includes providing a coated substrate, providing a three-dimensional model of the spectacle lens, digitally cutting the three-dimensional model into individual two-dimensional layers, providing at least one printing ink, typically a 3D printing ink, building up the spectacle lens from the sum of the individual two-dimensional layers with a printing operation on the substrate, and hardening of the spectacle lens. The hardening can take place completely or partially after application of individual volume elements or after application of a layer, and the partial hardening can be completed after conclusion of the printing process.

3D printing process for producing a spectacle lens

A spectacle lens has an object-side front surface and an eye-side rear surface and is made of a base material that includes an ultraviolet (UV) absorber, which functions as a band-stop filter for UV light. A method for producing a spectacle lens by additive manufacturing includes interspersing first volume elements and second volume elements. The process includes the steps of: a) providing an optical glass, b) preparing a layer having Si&#x2014;H groups (silane groups) on the optical glass, and c) reacting the silane groups with a compound having hydrophilic groups and at least one group reactive to the silane group.
