Systems and methods for sump pump remote monitoring can include control circuitry integrated into a portable housing, with a backup sump pump connected to the control circuitry. The control circuitry can be powered by a line power and when the line power is not available, the control circuitry can be powered by a battery power. The control circuitry can be connected to a control panel, and the control circuitry can include a pressure transducer, the pressure transducer to measure a pressure in a fluid level sensor, and based on the measured pressure, the control circuitry to adjust the speed of the backup sump pump. A wireless controller can be connected to the control circuitry, the wireless controller for wirelessly receiving monitoring instructions and wirelessly transmitting backup sump pump status data, with the control circuitry providing an indication of the backup sump pump status data to the control panel.

Sump pump remote monitoring systems and methods

Embodiments of the invention provide battery backup sump pump (BBU) systems and methods. The BBU systems and methods can be used with a battery and an alternating current power source to charge the battery. The BBU systems and methods can be adapted to be a portable power source for AC and DC external devices.

Battery backup sump pump systems and methods

Fluid level sensor systems and methods can include an inverted cup with a sealed top and an open bottom, the inverted cup defining an inner air space. An inner pressure tube can extend from the inner air space and through the sealed top. A contact sensor can be positioned near the sealed top, the contact sensor including a pair of contacts. A pair of conductors can extend from the contact sensor, one conductor extending from each one of the pair of contacts.

Pressure cup

A hydraulic punch driver which includes a hydraulic pump section a hydraulic ram section, and a hydraulic hose which connects these two sections together. Because the hydraulic hose is flexible, the operator is able to manipulate the ram section such that it can be positioned at an angle relative to the pump section; a hose guard can be provided on the hose to protect the hose and to prevent overflexing of the hose. Such flexibleness allows the operator to use the punch driver in virtually any position such that the ram can operate as necessary and the operator can operate the pump handle, regardless of the environmental conditions of the place of use. The pump section also includes a coupler which allows a handle thereof to swivel 360 degrees to further allow the operator to grip and actuate the pump handle with maximum comfort.

Hydraulic punch driver

A novel adjustment assembly for use with a hydraulic control apparatus. The hydraulic control apparatus is attached to a hydraulically operated tool to provide a desired hydraulically powered function. The present invention allows the hydraulic control apparatus to be used with either a constant volume (open-center) hydraulic system or constant pressure (closed-center) hydraulic power system. The novel adjustment assembly of the present invention provides a structure which can be configured to force open shuttle spool valves in the control apparatus in a neutral condition for use with a constant volume power supply. The adjustment assembly can also be configured to be disengaged from the shuttle spool valves in a neutral condition for use with a constant pressure hydraulic power system. Operation of the adjustment assembly is made using standard tools and without disassembly of the control apparatus.
