A metering device, a metering element, and a method for operating same, the metering element having a storage container open on one side for receiving the substances to be metered and a plunger which is axially movable and reversibly seals the opening of the storage container and which preferably has at least one centrally located metering opening for metering the substances provided in the storage container, the plunger including a separation device for particles.

In a method for evaluating mechanical tests of a coating on a substrate, in a first step a mechanical stress is applied onto the coating, in a second step the substrate having the coating is isothermally clamped, in a third step an infrared photograph is generated of the region in which the mechanical stress is applied onto the coating in the first step, and in a fourth step the infrared photograph is evaluated. A device is arranged for carrying out the method.

Method for evaluating mechanical tests of a coating

A method is provided for detecting not fully set coatings and liquid or smearing impurities on a surface, in which in a first step a film is pressed onto a surface of a coating using a predefined press-on pressure, the film having a relative motion with respect to the surface of the coating, thereafter the film is pulled off the surface of the coating and finally it is determined whether impurities are adhering to the film.
