A system includes a dispensing device having a material chamber to store an oilfield material and to fluidly couple to a wellhead, a plurality of flow control devices to control a flow of the oilfield material via the material chamber, a plurality of sensors to measure one or more properties related to the dispensing device, and a control system communicatively coupled to the dispensing device. The control system opens a first flow control device to fill the material chamber with the oilfield material, monitors a condition associated with the material chamber based on the properties measured via the plurality of sensors, opens a second flow control device to provide a high pressure fluid into the material chamber when the condition is present, and open a third flow control device, where the third flow control device fluidly couples the material chamber to the wellhead.

Apparatus and method of disbursing materials into a wellbore

A method for fracking a well includes inserting a downhole tool into the well via a conveyance string through a wellhead assembly having a wellhead bore. The method also includes surrounding, at least partially, the conveyance string with a sleeve that at least extends below a portion of an inlet of the wellhead assembly, wherein the inlet intersects the wellhead bore. The method further includes injecting pressurized fluid into the well via the inlet of the wellhead assembly while retrieving the downhole tool from the well.

Method and apparatus for hydraulic fracturing

Present embodiments are directed to a gripping device configured to cooperate with a pipe drive system or top drive to provide a sealed engagement with drillpipe elements. The gripping device includes a housing configured to extend over and at least partially around a distal end of the drillpipe element. Further, the gripping device includes a seal area positioned along an inner perimeter of the housing such that, when a seal is inserted in the seal area, the seal is arranged to engage with a face of the distal end of the drillpipe element and a face of the gripping device. Further, the gripping device includes engagement features configured to extend inwardly from the inner perimeter to facilitate coupling of the gripping device with an outer circumferential area of the drillpipe element.

Pipe drive sealing system and method

The present invention generally relates to an apparatus and method for operating a tool in a wellbore. In one aspect, the apparatus includes a hydraulically operated tool and a wellbore tubular both in communication with a pressure sensing line. The hydraulically operated tool is responsive to a combination of a fluid pressure in the pressure sensing line and a manipulation of the wellbore tubular, such response causing the tool to operate within the wellbore. In another aspect, the invention provides a method for anchoring a well tool in a wellbore. The method includes the steps of lowering the well tool into the wellbore on a tubular string, flowing fluid through the tubular string to begin anchoring the well tool, and manipulating the tubular string to complete the anchoring of the well tool.
