A reciprocating cylinder seal assembly (') has an elastomeric seal, where separate inner (&#x2032;) and an outer (&#x2032;) valve seal retainers are located within the reciprocating cylinder seal assembly. The reciprocating cylinder seal assembly (&#x2032;) better controls radial run out than past seals in reciprocating cylinder engines. Further, the reciprocating cylinder seal assembly may have a scraper (&#x2032;) that is in contact with the outer valve seal retainer (&#x2032;).

Run out tolerant reciprocating cylinder sleeve seal carbon scraper

A reciprocating cylinder seal assembly has an elastomeric seal with a radially inwardly directed oil sealing lip and a radially inwardly directed gas sealing lip, wherein both lips are in elastomeric-to-metal sealing contact with a reciprocating engine liner. The assembly further has a U-shaped seal retainer that is attached to the elastomeric seal, where the U-shaped seal retainer is placed in direct intimate contact with a cylindrical engine housing. The U-shaped seal retainer and a reciprocating engine housing may be separated by and be in contact with a major portion of a J-shaped gas shield with a hook portion that is located between the oil sealing lip and a manifold port, where the hook portion of the J-shaped gas shield has a metal backer ring embedded in it.

Reciprocating cylinder liner seal assembly

A portable male urinal has a hollow urinal body with an inlet in communication with a reservoir. The urinal body has a flat stabilizer on the bottom of the reservoir having a greater width than the width of the adjacent urinal body and structured to underlie the legs of a male patient lying on his back. The stabilizer base preferably has a generally flat undersurface and a pair of spaced urinal body engaging walls projecting upwardly therefrom. The stabilizer base preferably has an undersurface which contains friction enhancing material. The stabilizer may have a top wall connecting the sidewalls and an end wall. A handle may be provided on the stabilizer to facilitate removal of the stabilizer from the urinal. In one embodiment, the stabilizer is secured to the urinal by friction. In another embodiment mechanical securement above and beyond frictional retention is provided. A drainage outlet may be provided with the reservoir floor sloping toward the same to facilitate gravity flow of urine to the outlet for discharge.
