A high-pressure fuel pump has an inlet valve and a pressure-limiting valve which fluidically connects a high-pressure region to an inlet valve region located, in terms of geometry, between the inlet valve and an electromagnetic actuator of the high-pressure fuel pump, which acts upon the inlet valve via a tappet.

A system, which is used especially as a fuel injection system for the high-pressure injection in internal combustion engines, includes a fuel distributor and a plurality of fuel injectors. Each fuel injector is situated on a cup of the fuel distributor. At least one of the fuel injectors is fastened to the associated cup by a holding element. The holding element has an at least essentially straight first leg and an at least essentially straight second leg. The cup includes at least one recess, which extends through a wall of the cup. The first leg and the second leg are guided through the at least one recess. Furthermore, the connection sleeve of the fuel injector has a collar, which is braced on the first leg of the holding element and on the second leg of the holding element in order to secure the fuel injector on the cup.

System having a fuel distributor and multiple fuel injectors

A holder is used for fastening a component, in particular a fuel distributor, to an internal combustion engine. The holder has at least one connection element, which includes a locating area. In the installed state, in which the connection element rests against an outer side of the component via its locating area, the locating area of the connection element extends across an angle greater than 180 degrees in relation to a longitudinal axis of the component. Furthermore, in the installed state, in which the connection element is resting via its locating area against the outer side of the component, the locating area has the form of a cylinder jacket. In addition, a system having a component and such a holder is provided.

Holder for fastening a component to an internal combustion engine

A holder serves for fastening a component, in particular a fuel distributor, onto an internal combustion engine. A holding element that has a component-side connecting segment is provided. The holding element is connectable at the component-side connecting segment to the component. The holding element furthermore has a fastening-means-side connecting segment at which the holding element is fastenable via a fastening means onto the internal combustion engine. A receiving part and a fastening sleeve are provided. The receiving part serves to connect the fastening sleeve to the fastening-means-side connecting segment of the holding element. The fastening sleeve has a through opening through which the fastening means is guidable. An assemblage having such a holder is also described. A connecting method is furthermore described.

A holder used for mounting at least one component on an add-on structure, e.g., an internal combustion engine, includes: a base element able to be connected to a component; a fixation element, which extends through the through bore of the base element and a damping element disposed in the through bore, in order to mount the base element on the add-on structure; a fixation sleeve; and a damping element surrounding an outer side of the fixation sleeve and form-fittingly connected to the fixation sleeve on at least one side along the longitudinal axis, and on at least one side the damping element is form-fittingly connected to the base element along the longitudinal axis.
