A clamping device with a housing, with a piston with piston rod running in the housing, and with a monitoring unit arranged at least partially in the housing, wherein the monitoring unit includes at least two sensor units. The sensor units are spaced apart from one another along a longitudinal axis of the piston rod, and are arranged at a distance from the piston rod. The piston and the piston rod, and a metallic signal transmitter arranged on the piston or on the piston rod, are movable in a positively driven manner between a first end position and a second end position. The first sensor unit is arranged at the first end position of the signal transmitter, and the second sensor unit is arranged at the second end position of the signal transmitter. Each sensor unit has a first and second sensor and includes an induction coil and an oscillator.

Clamping device with inductive monitoring unit

Query unit for determining the status of moving or movable parts of a system part, particularly for determining the end positions of a clamping arm of a toggle lever clamping apparatus, has a sensor unit and an electroblock. The sensor unit has at least one sensor and a connector plug-in connection part for connecting the sensor unit with the electroblock and can be attached to the system part. The electroblock has at least one electrical connector element for connecting an outer, releasable connection cable, a connector plug-in connection part for connecting the electroblock with the sensor unit, and at least one screw passage opening for installation on an outer surface of the system part. The connector plug-in connection part of the sensor unit is connected in an opening of the system part, with shape fit.

Query unit for toggle lever clamp

A toggle clamping device for building vehicle bodies has a clamping head and a cylinder, which adjoins the cylinder-side end of the clamping head in axial extension and the piston rod of which passes axially through the cylinder and a cavity of the clamping head, a toggle clamping arrangement being fastened to the free end of the piston rod, the toggle clamping arrangement being coupled to a clamping arm, and an opening being provided in the housing, and a cavity being provided therein for the mounting of a detection device for detecting the end positions of the clamping head, and wherein the detection device is formed as an exchangeable part, a 'cassette'. For simple exchange of the cassette, the detection device is made up of a retainer and at least one sensor carrier, and the retainer is connected to the at least one sensor carrier such that the retainer can pivot about a pivot axis, the pivot axis being oriented transversely to the direction of the piston rod.

Sensor for power clamp

Position finding system having a sensor unit and a transmitter unit. The sensor unit comprises a first RFID transponder reader unit, a first inductive detector unit, and an analysis unit connected to the RFID transponder reader unit and the inductive detector unit; the transmitter unit comprises an RFID transponder and a metallic material. The sensor unit is movable relative to the transmitter unit. The RFID transponder reader unit is configured for absolute position finding and outputs a first position value, and the inductive detector unit is configured for absolute position finding and outputs a second position value. The analysis unit is configured to determine, from the data acquired from the transmitter unit, an absolute position of the sensor unit from the first and second position values.

The invention relates to a device for determining the path of an in particular metallic target, with at least two detection devices so positioned along a path to be monitored that the sensitivity curves of immediately adjacent detection devices at least partly overlap, the detection devices in each case having at least one inductance coil and at least one oscillator and as a function of a damping of the oscillator by the target supply a distance signal, with at least one converting device operatively connected to the detection devices for converting the dampings detected by the detection devices into analog signals, particularly current and/or voltage signals, and with at least one evaluating device operatively connected to the converting device or devices for determining and reading out a local position of the target from the analog signals going back to the detection devices.
