A height adjustment mechanism for a vehicle seat includes an adjustment parallelogram. The adjustment parallelogram includes a seat frame part, an upper rail and lateral links connecting the seat frame part and the upper rail. A spindle drive can adjust the adjustment parallelogram such that a distance between the seat frame part and the upper rail is changed by changing a length of the spindle drive. The spindle drive connects two obliquely opposing corners of the adjustment parallelogram () together in a reinforcing manner.

Height adjustment device for a vehicle seat

A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion having seat upholstery and a seat back having a seat back upholstery which are held in a seat framework that is anchored to a vehicle floor in a longitudinally shiftable manner, and includes at least one swivelable holding bracket, for the detachable fastening of a child's seat, set upon the seat cushion, on the seat framework, which is swivelable from a covered, non-use position into a functional position, in which it is accessible, all the way through, between seat back upholstery and seat upholstery. For the creation of a vehicle seat, e.g., having electromotive seat adjustment for longitudinal seat adjustment, seat cushion vertical setting and seat cushion depth setting, in a longitudinal shifting position of the seat upholstery which is determined so that the seat upholstery is moved out of the swivel path of the holding bracket, the swivel motion of the holding bracket is derived from the vertical adjustment motion of the seat cushion.

Vehicle seat

A motor vehicle seat with a seat cushion and a backrest has a fixing bracket for a child's seat placed on the seat cushion. The fixing bracket can be swiveled out of a covered out-of-use position into a functioning position arranged between a seat cushion and a backrest through a swiveling device. In order to attain a secure mounting of the child's seat and at the same time require the least amount of space possible, the fixing bracket can be swiveled into the functioning position or back into the out-of-use position through a swiveling device that has a four arm linkage.

In order a safety device for a motor vehicle seat having a seat cushion part and a backrest, the backrest having a frame, a backrest cover, which faces rearward as seen in the direction of travel, and padding which faces forward, as seen in the direction of travel, and an airbag module is integrated into the backrest, said airbag module being arranged in that region of the backrest which faces the side wall structure of the motor vehicle in such a manner that an airbag is deployed when there is an impact between a driver and the side wall of the motor vehicle, said safety device ensuring a reliable and reproducible emergence of the airbag, it is proposed to arrange the airbag module to the rear of the backrest frame, when looking from the side wall of the motor vehicle.

Safety device for a motor vehicle seat

A first-aid device for motor vehicles which has an elastic unrollable mat which is used as a carrier for items of first-aid equipment and has an essentially rectangular shape. In order to use existing storage space effectively and, in particular, to obtain a compact structural shape, the mat has a fastener on two longitudinal edges, so that it can be folded-up to form a flexible container. In the process, the fastener connects the longitudinal edges of the mat to form a stable, cylindrical container.

First-aid device for motor vehicles

A windbreak device is provided for an open motor vehicle, in whose passenger cell at least one vehicle seat having a backrest and associated head restraint is arranged. Air outflow openings of the air-distributing device are provided level with an upper region of the backrest in order to avoid undesirable draughts for the vehicle occupant. The air-distributing device is integrated in the backrest and is supported directly by the latter.

Windbreak device for an open motor vehicle

A motor vehicle has a folding roof which can be opened and lowered into a rear storage space. Partitioning of the rear storage space into a folding-top space and a residual luggage space is provided by a separating arrangement which includes a dimensionally stable covering element that can be shifted vertically from a use position into a non-use position when the folding top is stored. The covering element extends over a rear sub-length of the separating arrangement and can be displaced forwards into the non-use position shortening the length of the separating arrangement.

A process for the preparation of fiber-reinforced plastic molding includes (1) shortening the fibers to a length of less than 30 mm; (2) introducing the fibers and the plastics present in the solid state, separately from one another, into a mixing chamber of a die press, wherein the plastic is in particulate form; (3) thoroughly mixing the plastic and fibers to give a solids mixture; (4) transporting the solids mixture through die orifices of the die press; (5) heating the solids mixture in the zone before or in the orifices of the die; (6) enclosing at least part or partly embedding the fibers by the plastic during or after the heating of the solids mixture; and (7) comminuting the granulated material for subsequent molding.

Process for making a plastic material

A fiber-reinforced molded plastic part, a process for its manufacture and a use. The fiber-reinforced molded plastic part consists of a plastic matrix with natural fibers particularly arranged in a uniformly distributed manner in the plastic matrix. The plastic matrix has at least two mutually mixed polymers, of which one is a biopolymer and the other is a polymer which is at least largely resistant to biological stress.
