A method for mounting a sealing device between a housing of an air-conditioning installation and a partition wall present in the motor vehicle, includes the following measures (a) arranging the housing and the partition wall relative to one another so that a housing aperture present in the housing and a wall aperture present in the partition wall are positioned adjacently to one another, (b) arranging a sealing device having a frame-shaped sealing body formed as profile part, which in profile is formed substantially V-shaped with a first and second leg, between the two apertures, (c) reducing a distance between the two apertures by moving the housing towards the partition wall until a transition connecting the legs with one another folds over towards the wall aperture or away from the same.

Method for mounting a sealing device between a housing of an air-conditioning installation and a partition wall present in or on the vehicle interior of a motor vehicle

A scenting device for scenting a vehicle interior may include at least one aromatic substance container holding a supply of an aromatic substance. The device may also include a feeding duct for feeding air to the at least one aromatic substance container and a discharge duct for discharging air enriched with the aromatic substance. The device may further include at least one scenting path for enriching air with the aromatic substance from the at least one aromatic substance container. The device may include a bypass duct branching off from the feeding duct and bypassing the at least one aromatic substance container. The device may also include a bypass valve and at least one container valve. The device may include a camshaft including a bypass cam configured to actuate the bypass valve and at least one container cam configured to actuate the at least one container valve.

A motor vehicle air conditioning unit having a housing, a heat exchanger, at least two manifolds and cooling tubes arranged therebetween forming a tube block. The housing has at least one first sealing rib oriented substantially parallel to an extending direction of the at least two manifolds and at least one second sealing rib oriented substantially parallel to an extending direction of the cooling tubes in the tube block, such that the at least one first sealing rib is oriented perpendicular to the at least one second sealing rib.

A housing is provided for a motor vehicle HVAC system, which is formed from interconnectable housing parts and has a groove, delimited by a first and a second groove leg, on a first housing part and a tongue on a second housing part and in which to connect the housing parts the tongue is disposed in the groove. The invention relates to a component, in particular a crossmember for arranging between A-pillars of a motor vehicle, having an essentially tubular base body in which at least one duct is provided. In order to provide an improved lightweight component which can be produced in a more simple manner using fewer working steps and therefore more cost-effectively and in which, in an advantageous manner, a duct can be integrated, it is proposed that the base body is lined on the inside with plastic in order to form duct walls consisting of plastic. The component according to the invention is used as a dashboard support in a motor vehicle.
