A corrosion resistant coating for metal surfaces curable with actinic radiation. The blend uses acrylate resin, photoinitiator and a corrosion preventing agent such as a metal surface passivator, overbased calcium sulfonate/calcium carbonate, a barrier pigment, or a combination of two or more of these agents.

Corrosion resistant, radiation curable coating

A spill containment receptacle for use with a tank has a flexible receptacle member defining an enclosure. It has a bottom wall and a sidewall extending upwardly and inwardly from the periphery of the bottom wall to a height that is less than the width of the bottom wall. The upper end portion of the sidewall has a collar extending thereabout and defining on opening adjacent the upper end of the receptacle member which is of lesser area than the bottom wall. Straps are attached to the collar for securing the receptacle member to an associated tank. The opening of the receptacle member is positioned directly beneath a point of leakage from the tank, and the upper end of the sidewall is positioned adjacent the surface of the tank about the point of leakage.

Spill containment receptacle for use with tank transports

A spill containment bag for use about the coupling of a tank port and a conduit comprises a flexible bag member defining an enclosure with a pair of opposed apertures in its sidewall to permit passage therethrough of the tank port and conduit, and the sidewall seats snugly about the elements passing therethrough so as to provide a seal. The top wall of the bag provides a disengageable closure for the bag to permit access to its interior. One or more vents may be provided to permit air to flow therethrough, and carrying straps are also provided. To seal the bag, flaps cover the apertures and vents. In use, the top wall is opened to permit coupling the conduit to the tank port, and the vents may be opened as required for the particular operation. When the operation is complete, the conduit is disconnected and the flaps overlying the apertures and vents are closed to permit transport of the bag with its contents.

Spill containment transfer bag

A spill containment bag for use with a container having a leak includes a flexible bag member defining an enclosure and having a lower section with a bottom wall and a sidewall extending upwardly and inwardly from the periphery of the bottom wall to a reduced cross section at its upper end intermediate the height of the bag member. The bag member also has an upper section with a sidewall extending upwardly therefrom, and the sidewall of the upper section has at least its upper portion extending outwardly to provide an opening of enlarged cross section at the upper end of the bag member. At least one strap is provided to secure the bag member to a leaking container so as to position the opening at the upper end thereof beneath the point of leakage.

Spill containment bag

An environmentally safe transportable liquid holding tank has an inner tank and a rigid enclosure spaced outwardly therefrom to provide a compartment therebetween. At least one access assembly is provided on the top of the enclosure and the inner tank, and this assembly includes a removable closure on the tank and a displaceable cover over that closure which extends across an upwardly opening recess defined within the access assembly and extending about the closure in the tank. Pump out conduits extend to the upper portion of the enclosure, and wheels are provided on the base of the unit to enable its movement from place to place.

Environmentally designed transportable holding tank

A method for liquid spill containment utilizes a collapsible and reusable spill containment bag which is flexible and includes a main body portion and a tubular extension portion at the upper end thereof. The extension portion which can be folded or inserted into the main body portion enhances the storage capacity of the bag and may form a closure for the upper end of the bag. Engagement means are provided on both the main body portion and the extension portion. In using the bag, the engagement means are used to suspend the bag in various positions on a tanker truck with a liquid transport system to receive or contain a leak. The containment bag may also be utilized to collect liquid leaking from a drum or barrel.

Method for spill containment

A collapsible and reusable spill containment bag for containing spills of liquid material is flexible and includes a main body portion and a tubular extension portion at the upper end thereof. The extension portion which can be folded or inserted into the main body portion enhances the storage capacity of the bag and may form a closure for the upper end of the bag. Engagement means are provided on both the main body portion and the extension portion. Spill containment bag and method of using the same

A process is provided by which dissolved metals may be recovered from aqueous waste solutions and converted to a particulate material, which may in turn be used as a filler for products such as asphalt. The process involves effecting reaction in the solution to produce a sludge comprised of metal hydroxides and sulfides, and admixing lime with a concentrate thereof to ultimately produce the filler.
