An aftertreatment system for an engine is disclosed. The aftertreatment system may include an exhaust passage configured to receive an exhaust flow from the engine, and an injector disposed in the exhaust passage and configured to inject reductant into the exhaust flow. The aftertreatment system may also include a bypass conduit fluidly connected to the exhaust passage downstream of the injector, at least one valve disposed in the bypass conduit and configured to divert exhaust gases from the exhaust passage into the bypass conduit, and a reductant storage device disposed in the bypass conduit and configured to store ammonia in the exhaust gases. The aftertreatment system may also include a control module configured to selectively operate the at least one valve.

Aftertreatment system implementing low-temperature SCR

A catalyst is disclosed. The catalyst contains a ternary nitride and at least one of gold, osmium, iridium, palladium, rhodium, rhenium, ruthenium, or cesium. The catalyst may be used for a particulate filter in an engine exhaust treatment system.

Exhaust system having catalytically active particulate filter

An exhaust treatment system for a combustion source is disclosed. The exhaust treatment system may have a supply of catalyst configured to lower the combustion threshold value of an exhaust constituent, and an injector operable to selectively pass catalyst to the exhaust constituent. The exhaust treatment system may further have a controller in communication with the injector. The controller may be configured to determine a temperature of an exhaust flow, and operate the injector to pass catalyst in response to the combustion threshold value being greater than the determined temperature.

Selective oxidation catalyst injection based on temperature

A family of glasses from the rare earth alumino-silicate (REO&#x2014;AlO&#x2014;SiO) ternary system exhibiting high strain point and low liquidus temperatures; preferably the LaO&#x2014;AlO&#x2014;SiOternary system. The glasses are excellent candidates for electronics applications and have the following composition, expressed in mole percent and calculated from the glass batch on an oxide basis: 60-85% SiO, 10-25% AlO, and 4-15% REO.

High strain point glasses

Disclosed is a glass material essentially free of BaO and alkali oxide particularly suitable for the glass substrate of LCDs. The glass material consists essentially, expressed in mole percent on an oxide basis, of 70&#x2013;80%, preferably 72&#x2013;77% of SiO, 3&#x2013;9%, preferably 4&#x2013;7% of AlO, 8&#x2013;18%, preferably 10&#x2013;16% BO, 3&#x2013;10%, preferably 3&#x2013;8% of CaO, 0&#x2013;4%, preferably 0&#x2013;3% RO, 0&#x2013;0.2%, preferably 0&#x2013;0.1% SnO, 0&#x2013;1%, preferably 0 to 0.5% of XO, where RO represents, collectively, MgO, SrO and ZnO, XO represents, collectively, TiO, ZrO, YOand LaO. The glass has a strain point in the range of over about 600&#xb0; C., a coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) in the range of about 23&#x2013;35&#xd7;10/&#xb0; C., a density lower than about 2.35 g/cm, a liquidus temperature lower than or equal to about 1200&#xb0; C. and a durability in BHF less than or equal to 0.5 mg/cmweight loss.

Low-density glass for flat panel display substrates

A family of titania lanthana aluminosilicate glasses, and products such as an electronic device having a poly-silicon coating on such glass as a substrate, are disclosed. The glasses have a strain point in excess of 780&deg; C., a coefficient of thermal expansion of 20-60&times;10 /&deg; C., a Young's modulus of greater than 12 Mpsi and are chemically durable.
